I had a conversation with a good quarterback coach this morning. We were able to pick his brain about some quarterbacks out there. We learned some great things. Let's check it out.

[player_tooltip player_id='652898' first='Kendetryon' last='Backstrom']

Backstrom is a stud at the quarterback position. This young man is going to have a great chance to be a division one quarterback. He has a solid arm and spins the ball very well. Backstrom has a really strong arm with a quick release. However, he does have a few mechanics to work on. Backstrom needs to do a better job in his drop steps. He needs to have a better presence in the pocket when he drops back to throw. These are things that are very fixable. I think this young man has a very high ceiling.

Xavier Hunt

We were able to get our eyes on Hunt a lot this past season. He was the guy calling the shots for the number one team in the state. That team was also considered one of the top small schools in the nation. Hunt is a guy that does a great job of leading his team. I think he is a guy that is going to be considered an athlete. He even mentioned that he is leaning towards the defensive back or wide receiver position in college.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188836' first='Bryson' last='Kimbrough']

Kimbrough is a big boy that has been impressive over these past two seasons. He does a great job of staying poised in the pocket. Kimbrough is a player that has a strong arm with a snapping release. There are going to be some things that he has to fix, but I love his ability to make plays on the move. He is a guy that knows how to extend plays for his receivers.

[player_tooltip player_id='350937' first='Bryce' last='Warriner']

I think that Warriner is another quarterback that we have to always mention in this class. He is a stud that is always making the right throw. I think that he is a guy that is going to be a division one quarterback one day. Keep your eyes out for his name.
