Alberto De La Garza Jr
Alberto De La Garza Jr
De La Garza Jr has already been on two junior day visits between Baylor and UTEP, leaving a great impression on both coaching staffs. Alberto plays 7 on 7 with 4th Quarter Pressure out of San Antonio, Tx but often fields calls from several National 7 on 7 teams to play in their tournaments as well. De La Garza held his own last weekend in two days of competition not giving up any touchdowns and was known as a physical force as he helped a loaded Texas Threat team. He continues to show that he can play with the best of them on a consistent bases and can compete on any level. I expect his offseason to take off and for him to obtain his first college offer here soon.
Hawkins has made it very clear that he’s committed to TCU for the long term but has still managed to pick up a few offers since the season ended with UTEP, DUKE, CAL and Boston College to name a few. Several media outlets have Hawkins in the top 10 at the QB position in his class which could most definitely change as he continues to grow on and off the field. Ty Hawkins Ty Hawkins 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB San Antonio Johnson | 2025 State TX is one of the most electrifying athletes in the state of Texas so it’ll be an honor to continue to watch him as he heads into his final offseason as a high school student athlete.
Brandon Castillo
Brandon Castillo
Castillo finished the season as one of the most versatile small school student athletes in central Texas even garnering several Division 2 and Division 3 offers before deciding to commit to Trinity University. Brandon finished the season with 43 catches, 755 yards, 12 receiving touchdown, 2 ints, 1 pick 6, and a 75 yard punt return for a touchdown. Once Brandon gets to Trinity next fall I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s slated to play right away as I know he’s going to be ready to compete day 1.
Mikhail McCreary Mikhail McCreary ATH Johnson | 2027 TX
Mikhail McCreary Mikhail McCreary ATH Johnson | 2027 TX
After clocking a PR 23.31 in the 200 as a freshman running on varsity the other day to add to the already impressive developmental offseason he’s having so far, one can only expect Mikhail McCreary Mikhail McCreary ATH Johnson | 2027 TX to take off his sophomore season. McCreary can play almost any skilled position on the field but as a safety, corner and a wide receiver he’s a forced to be reckoned with. Look for McCreary at several camps this summer and notice how his quick twitch, his closing speed and his knowledge of the game translates to every rep, every drill and every instance of him being coached.
