Over the next few weeks, we will be breaking down the NW's top underclassmen by position. Please note this includes athletes from both state's in all three classes (2025-27'). Check out the region's top QB's and what they bring to the table.

1.Sione Tu'amoheloa-Kaho 6-2 190 27' Lincoln WA

The freshman is physically gifted and experienced beyond his years. His ability to lead at such a young age is incredibly unique, hitting on 69% of his passes, for 2,296 yards and 18 TDs/7 INTs. From a recruiting standpoint he has one of the highest ceilings of any QB in the country for his class.

2.[player_tooltip player_id='285857' first='Nolan' last='Keeney'] 6-5 215 25' Tualatin OR

Probably the fastest rising prospect in Oregon at any position. Keeney had an unreal year, passing for 28 TDs/5 INTs and 2460 yards, on 73% passing in just 7 games. His combination of size and overall athleticism was unmatched in the NW, also rushing for 500 yards. He is a legit 6-5 dual-threat QB.

3.[player_tooltip player_id='348171' first='Kolton' last='Matson'] 6-2 180 25' Lake Stevens WA

Matson was named the Washington Gatorade Player of the Year and statistically was one of the most impressive QB's nationwide. On the season the 2x state champ totaled 55 TDs (49 passing) and just 6 INTs. He passed for 3,388 yards while hitting on 68% of his passes. They were absolutely dominant all throughout the playoffs, leaving no doubt in the 4A title game with a 31-6 win over Graham-Kapowsin.

4.[player_tooltip player_id='406774' first='Baird' last='Gilroy'] 6-5 210 25' West Linn OR

The unanimous 1st team all TRL QB had a breakout season, currently ranked among the top 10 recruits in Oregon for the 2025 class. He passed for over 3000 yards and 33 Total TDs (28 passing), finishing 3rd in the state in yards & TDs. Gilroy will be expected to lead his team to the state title next year.

5.[player_tooltip player_id='402792' first='Legend' last='Galeai'] 6-4 190 26' Lakes WA

Galeai started every game as a freshman and had another good year before going down with an injury. Expect him to blow up over the off season as you can't teach the size and confidence. In 3 games he totaled 600+ yards and 9 TDs (7 passing) with 2 INTs.

6.[player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl'] 6-0 180 25' Nelson OR

Durdahl started as a freshman and continues to thrive as one of the top overall players in Oregon for the 2025 class. He passed for 2000+ yards and 21 TDs/6 INTs. The Hawks finished 8-3 with losses to the #1, 2, and 3 teams in the state.

7.[player_tooltip player_id='1136399' first='Jake' last='Davidson'] 6-2 195 25' Camas WA

Definitely an athlete with the potential to blow up. Davidson earned 1st team all GSHL honors, passing for 2,543 yards and 24 TDs on 62% passing. The Papermakers will be a legit contender next season with his leadership.

8.[player_tooltip player_id='726169' first='Nate' last='Donavan'] 6-2 190 26' Mount Si WA

Donavan didn't have great numbers but has all of the tools and could end up being special. He was the starter as a sophomore, finishing with 7 TDs/9 INTs and 797 yards passing. Expect him to make some noise on the 7v7 circuit.

9.[player_tooltip player_id='1065416' first='Landon' last='Garner'] 6-1 170 25' Ridgeline WA

The GSL Conference POY helped his team to an 8-3 season with a playoff victory. Garner passed for 2,198 yards and 28 TD's/10 INTs during the regular season. The Falcons should be good again next year with him and fellow 2025 standout [player_tooltip player_id='1040100' first='Brayden' last='Allen'] returning.

10.[player_tooltip player_id='402426' first='Traeger' last='Healy'] 6-1 190 26' North Medford OR

Healy is an outstanding overall athlete (basketball) and one of the fastest rising 2026 prospects in Oregon. North continuously produces top recruits but that hasn't translated in the playoffs. This is a kid who could change that. He earned 2nd team all-conference honors during the year, hitting on 71% of his passes, with 1,796 yards and 17 TDs/7 INTs.

10.[player_tooltip player_id='348144' first='Landon' last='Renfroe'] 6-3 205 25' Eastlake WA

Renfroe has great size and did a good job leading the offense with the Wolves finishing at 11-2. They got two big playoff wins against Sumner and very good Skyview team. He hit on 52% of his passes with 17 TDs/8 INTs. Eastlake will be listed as a contender again next season.
