Looking back, I could easily pivot and name Imani Christian’s Will Gorman the DL MVP. In hindsight, I don’t know if any DL performed better. A deeper eval will come sometime this week. Coming off his recent explosion onto the recruiting scene, as well as his top 30 ranking debut, Will Gorman keeps pushing good momentum into the offseason. Hot name right now.
Highlights
Named DL MVP at the camp, a no-brainer for Top Performer mention. I’m going to make a push to get this young man looks, a 2026 who ranks as a top 10 DL, who dominated elite competition at our camp. Much like Gorman, Johnson’s stock has never been higher. He’s proven worthy of his high rank. A deeper eval will come sometime this week.

A deeper eval will come sometime this week. I am appreciative that Clancy Orie Clancy Orie 6’3″ | 250 lbs | DL Bethel Park | 2025 State PA , one of the hottest names in PA right now, still decided to make the trip down to Lancaster PA to perform against elite competition. His eagerness to prove his worth won’t go unnoticed. Awesome physique in shorts and a T-shirt, looked the part physically, there is no wonder looking at him on and off tape as to why he’s a hot commodity in the recruiting world right now. One of my favorite prospects representing the class of 2025.

A deeper eval will come sometime this week. Again, another prospect who could have easily taken home DL MVP. Awesome blend of strength and agility. High energy, high motor, coaches had his number circled, as did I. Due to the influx of new names added to the 2025 rankings, Slaughter’s rank dipped just a bit. With this performance, I’m eager to get him back into the top 100.
Highlights
The “surprise” of the camp. We come into these camps with expectations that new names will outperform some of the higher-ranked prospects in the building. Always happens. This camp’s surprise was Cheltenham’s Isiaah Brooks. His stock rose exponentially. Legitimately don’t recall a rep lost at IDL/NG. All DL coaches raved about his performance throughout the camp. He, like JJ, Slaughter, and Gorman, could have easily been named DL MVP.

Linebacker Selections
Nate Romano Nate Romano 6’2″ | 215 lbs | LB Springfield | 2025 State PA answered many questions I had coming into the camp. I have no worries telling prominent coaches looking for 2025 LBs to take a look at Romano out of Springfield. 9’4 broad, respectable 4.85 40. Awesome physique, an even better player with pads on. Was a unanimous choice for TP honors among LB and RB coaches in attendance.

Watch this young man’s stock rise once we re-update 2025s in the springtime. Can’t wait to see him climb into Top250 territory. After seeing him work in person, he’s likely a lock for that at this point. I was clearly too low on the LB MVP. 4.87 40 and a 9’0 broad. He’s got room to grow from a build perspective too. I’m all in on all things Frey from here on out.
Jackson Connelly Jackson Connelly 6’2″ | 210 lbs | LB Quakertown | 2026 State PA , coming off an impressive debut on our 2026 rankings, shows up for camp and is named a Top Performer. Maybe Connelly is a future D1 linebacker in waiting, his current and future ranking reflects that notion. I can see him testing a bit better in the future, however. A real 6’1, 210 I might add, a sophomore with a phenomenal build. A deeper eval will come sometime this week.

Defensive Back Selections
Wish I had kept Roman Catholic’s Christian Palmer Christian Palmer 6’0″ | 175 lbs | DB Roman Catholic | 2025 State PA inside the Top75, a spot he landed as a sophomore last year. He’s one prospect I don’t mind reworking immediately, expect to see his ranking change overnight. I’ll do a deep dive into how he performed in a later piece, getting into the specifics of how he matched up against great talent at the WR position. Palmer was a unanimous choice for DB MVP, excited to see his stock rise from here on out.
Highlights
Dymere Durham Dymere Durham 5’11” | ATH Northeast | 2025 State PA came to camp ranked as one of the best two-way players in the state. He stood on that notion, being the second name mentioned after Roman’s Palmer. Coaches raved about his hips and movement skills, with me mentioning to many that he is equally special a WR. I’m thankful he came out and showed out at DB as opposed to participating at wideout. Kid has received a D1 grade out of me, excited to get him back inside the Top150 at some point.
Dylan Spriddle Dylan Spriddle 5’11” | 165 lbs | DB Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast | 2025 State PA has solidified his game in front of PRZ scouts at this point. I feel like I know what I’m getting out of the Bonner DB. Ranked inside the top 35 at his position, Spriddle was named a Top Five DB, named just below the above-mentioned Durham and Palmer. Love to see three Philly DBs come to camp and prove how special talents can be developed inside the city. These three prospects exemplify that. A deeper eval will come sometime this week.
