Connelly’s ranking is hardly important at the moment, what’s more important is his status among FCS programs recruiting him locally. Physically imposing, knows his way around an indi bag drill. Connelly’s tape is what is going to secure scholarship opportunities his way, things shown during a showcase can only help validate what you see on screen. Connelly is a fantastic validator.

Maybe Connelly is a future D1 linebacker in waiting, his current and future ranking reflects that notion. I can see him testing a bit better in the future, however. A real 6’1, 210 I might add, a sophomore with a phenomenal build. A deeper eval will come sometime this week.
