Dubuque’s Drew Francois Drew Francois 6'4" | 250 lbs | LB Dubuque Senior | 2025 State IA is a tremendous athlete who could go on to play on either side of the ball in college. Defensively, Drew is a bulldozer on the defensive line. He has a quick get off and is a quick draw with his hands. Francois does a great job tracking and flowing to the ball, with the lateral quickness and short area burst to hawk down RBs and scrambling QBs. Great at setting and maintaining the edge against the run. Very impressive offensive film— could be a very dominant tight end in college with projectable size and mitts that can catch anything thrown his way.
Sunny Salkic Sunny Salkic 6'1" | 270 lbs | DL Waukee | 2025 State IA | 2025 | DL | Waukee | 6’1″ 270 lbs
I don’t have tape from Sanel’s junior season, but looking at his sophomore season film, it’s clear he is a next-level talent. Salkic uses his hands very well and has the power to swat the lineman away. Aggressive at the point of attack with good power to help him make his way into backfields. There is still some rawness to his game in his soph. tape, but I’m looking forward to seeing some of Sunny’s junior tape.
Harrison Tripp Harrison Tripp 6'1" | 200 lbs | LB Norwalk | 2025 State IA | 2025 | LB | Norwalk | 6’1″ 215 lbs
Harrison is a player who could ride the momentum of his break-out junior season into a big off-season! Tripp played a pivotal role in the Norwalk defense, accumulating 60.5 tackles, 12.5 TFLs, two sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble. Harrison plays with a mean streak and is high-intensity from snap to whistle. He quickly breaks on the ball when he keys in on the run and looked pretty slippery at the LOS, avoiding getting caught up with blockers. Resides in the opposing backfield. I liked how aggressive Harrison is when attacking his gaps, he does a great job builidng a head of steam and converting his strength to power. Good instincts when dropping into coverage and is an enforcer in the middle of the field. Don’t wait too long on this guy!
