Jordan Dillon Jordan Dillon 6’3″ | 275 lbs | OL Savannah Christian Prep | 2027 GA made the long commute from Savannah and it paid off as he walked away as one of the top performers of the OL group. Dillon measured in at 6’3 317 and looks to carry his weight pretty well. He has the frame and physicality needed to catch physical rushers. Once he got his hands on defenders, he did a fantastic job of working momentum back through his hands and steering them out of the play. Whenever defenders did catch the edge, he was sudden enough to cut off their pursuit angle and did not hesitate to finish plays through the dirt. I said before that Dillon has P5 upside, and the way he played on Saturday certainly didn’t back me off that claim.
Williams-Lee, a rising senior, came into this camp as an underrated prospect that I was intrigued to see. After getting eyes on him in person, he is absolutely someone who should pick up D1 recruiting attention. He came in at 6’1 271 with impressive definition in his lower body. He is fluid and explosive in the hips, allowing him to quickly and aggressively get on the outside of blockers. He utilized his impressive first step and fiery hands to slap away at blockers, which made him difficult to contain.
Highlights
Cain had generated some recruiting buzz prior to this event. He was noticeably bigger this time around, and he left as one of the top performers in the DL group. He is still refining his explosiveness and athletic traits, and looks even better from the last time I saw him. Regardless, his pass rushing plan is well developed for his age as he has several different ways to beat and shed blocks. At his peak, Cain should be an athletic defensive lineman with some pass rushing potential at several spots along the line of scrimmage.
Highlights
Howell was one of the most impressive new names that popped on my radar after Saturday. He definitely looks the part, coming in at 6’2 290 with some twitch in his feet. He held his own and competed well with talented defensive linemen, which made him better and raised his stock at the same time. Coaches at the event seemed to like him at center, as he could get his hand up quickly and anchor down against defenders while using his length to manipulate. Howell impressed and deserves some exposure for his work at center.
From a physical standpoint, Jenkins definitely held his own. He measured in at 6’0 270. He utilized his stout lower body to anchor against rushers and halt their ability to turn speed into power. He is active and willing to play the hand fighting game, constantly refiring and resetting his hands to keep defenders at bay. I like to highlight players that coaches like, and coaches at camp were high on his power. He is the type of prospect that doesn’t typically shine at camps, but he found a way to stand out.
