Several players stood out in their performances at the Prep Redzone Carolinas Showcase - let's take a look at these brief thoughts:

OL [player_tooltip player_id='1149034' first='Mor' last='Mboup'] - Class of 2024 - A 6'9 prospect originally from Senegal, he impressed with very good athleticism for his size. He did not have a chance to play this past season but has the talent to play at the next level on either the offensive line or defensive line.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='309825' first='Grayson' last='Clary'] - Class of 2027 - Daniel High School - For such a young prospect, I liked his compact delivery and poise when delivering the football. He had good accuracy throughout the 1 on 1 period and displayed some good arm strength.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='897126' first='Miles' last='McCallop'] - Class of 2027 - Rolesville High School - Every time I saw him throw the football, he was putting it in some very tight windows and it resulted in completions consistently. He plays with a confidence and swagger that can't be ignored, I'll be excited to see his growth.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='1149050' first='Kaevon' last='Washington'] - Class of 2025 - Thornwell Charter - A slot receiver that has some very good speed and hands. I was impressed with his route running and his quickness in and out of his breaks and route variety.

RB [player_tooltip player_id='1165128' first='RJ' last='Brown'] - Class of 2026 - Lancaster High School - Compact and strong build that allows him to show some electric ability going through agility drills and 1 on 1's versus linebackers. A ton of potential with this young man to be a 3-down back over the next couple of years that produces big numbers.

RB Hez Krider Jr. - Class of 2026 - Salisbury High School - I liked the speed this young man showed in the open field in 1-on-1s versus linebackers. Very good agility and body control in everything he does. He has a bright future and an opportunity to break out at an excellent football program sooner rather than later.

OL Oliver Marett - Class of 2025 - Belton-Honea Path High School - Just massive size with this young man at 6'7 and 300 pounds. But the more impressive thing is his ability to move with that size in pass protection 1 on 1's. He did a great job staying in front of pass rushers from his tackle position and should be a big-time recruit with this size and athletic profile.

TE [player_tooltip player_id='327286' first='Gavin' last='Barber'] - Class of 2026 - Cox Mill High School - Gavin did a great job in winning the vast majority of 1 on 1 matchups he had against cornerbacks and safeties, showing strong hands and good vertical speed, especially for a prospect with his size. He recently picked up his first offer from UNC-Charlotte, which should be the first of many.
