There were close to 100 prospects who attended the Prep Redzone Next Midwest Middle School Showcase in Barrington, IL last Saturday. We saw multiple prospects turn heads throughout the camp, as players ranging from grades 5 through 8 made jaw dropping plays. After all was said and done, these rising stars balled out and were picked as best of the best for the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase at quarterback.
Lamer was one of the most impressive young guys at the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase. The Class of 2029 quarterback from Michigan stood tall when competing with the older guys at the camp. Lamer impressed with his footwork and accuracy, fitting the ball into tight windows rep after rep. Keep an eye out for this QB prospect over the next several years.
Highlights
Oruche was one of the top Class of 2030 players at the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase. The quarterback from Huntley, IL had multiple throws that turned heads, including many of them during the 1-on-1 section. This 6th grader is making a name for himself and will continue to do so over the several seasons.

Holcomb was another young player who impressed at the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase. The Class of 2030 quarterback out of Downers Grove, IL showcased polished footwork, technique, and accuracy throughout the camp. Holcomb impressed most during both individual drills and 1-on-1’s where he consistently throw the ball with accuracy and touch. Holcomb should be a rising star in recruiting over the next several years.
