Several players stood out in their performances at the Prep Redzone Carolinas Showcase – let's take a look at these brief thoughts:

LB William Massey - Class of 2025 - Northwestern High School - I have seen Will a couple of times up close and in person and he continues to impress with great athleticism in space and ability to match up well with players in 1 on 1 pass coverage from his linebacker position. He should have a big senior year in a strong program.

DL [player_tooltip player_id='1038348' first='Jayden' last='Fry'] - Class of 2025 - Rolesville High School - A good explosion out of his stance allowed him to gain leverage to work through half a man consistently against offensive tackles using a variety of pass rush moves. Good overall agility plus a 6'3 frame should allow him to gain more college interest going into his senior year.

DB [player_tooltip player_id='1149029' first='Jayden' last='Woodruff'] - Class of 2025 - Providence High School - He came into this showcase with an offer from Alabama A&M, and with his quickness and change of direction in short spaces, he should attract more attention from schools. He also showed good long speed in 1 on 1's against deep passes down the field.

DL [player_tooltip player_id='1147370' first='Nse' last='Uffort'] - Class of 2025 - Swain County High School - I like his first step out of his stance from a 3-point defensive tackle position. Showed some good upper body strength and worked his hands well to set up moves in 1-on-1s versus offensive linemen. He also moved well during agility drills.

LB [player_tooltip player_id='271557' first='Chase' last='McCullough'] - Class of 2026 - Hickory Ridge High School - Good overall physical stature, has been in the weight room. Like how well he can turn and run versus running backs in the pass coverage portion of their 1-on-1s. Good side-to-side overall agility as well in drills.

DB [player_tooltip player_id='1128511' first='Elijah' last='Barber'] - Class of 2025 - Myers Park High School - Elijah continues to impress in every place that I see him up close. He projects as a slot corner on the next level, and he plays really well in aggressive, man-coverage situations. He has major confidence in his technique, and that is a great complement to his overall speed as well.
