Carolinas Stock Up Showcase: Individual Position Notes

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prep Redzone Carolinas Stock Up Showcase was held on Sunday afternoon at Fort Mill High School where prospects in the class of 2024 to 2027 took part. There was a portion of Sunday's session where each position got to spend one-on-one time with a position coach, looking to improve their craft and pick up on things that can help them improve their game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here's a look at what we saw from some of the offensive skill players:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Quarterbacks</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='232624' first='Xavier' last='Means']</strong> | Northwestern (SC) | 2027</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Means did a good job of turning his hips and stepping into his throws when we watched the quarterbacks run through solo drills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='851148' first='Jack' last='Myers']</strong> | Cox Mill (NC) | 2026</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Myers' drop back was impressive to watch and he was another one that stepped into his throws well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1149044' first='Channing' last='Buford']</strong> | Hillcrest (SC) | 2026</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Buford's pocket presence was something that we noticed early on. He did a good job of planting with his right foot and making the throws.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1149066' first='Joshua' last='Sims'] </strong>| Blacksburg (SC) | 2025</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The way that the ball came out of Sims hands during the session was impressive to watch. Baxter showed an ability to get in and out quickly to burst out at full speed at the end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
