Prep Redzone has the details...

[player_tooltip player_id='908936' first='Jamar' last='Owens'] - ATH - Jonesboro

One of the top overall athletes south of Atlanta, Owens is a dynamic playmaker who can line up on both sides of the ball. At 6-foot-1 170-pounds, Owens has a lengthy frame, helping him to blanket receivers while playing with a physical presence against the run. He's had an impressive offer list for a while now, and he earned another big SEC offer from the Texas A&M Aggies. A strong, dependable tackler who doesn't mind contact, Owens made 69 tackles, one INT, and three forced fumbles. He's a true weapon on defense who shows great instincts, toughness, and physicality. He has a nose for the football and will only get better over the next several months as he enters his junior season next fall. He checks the boxes, and the offers should continue to roll in.

[player_tooltip player_id='910370' first='Carter' last='Luckie'] - DL - Norcross

An outstanding pass-rusher and one of the top 2026 defenders across Gwinnett County, Luckie has college football bloodlines and earned a new major offer from the Tennessee Volunteers. He's got plenty of size and natural strength at 6-foot-5 250-pounds who already looks like a Power Five player. He's explosive off the snap and knows how to deliver a big hit on the ball-carrier. As a sophomore last season, Luckie showed big play ability on a weekly basis and ended the season with 54 tackles, 29 TFLs and three sacks. Just a sophomore, Luckie has lived in the backfield last fall and did it against some excellent 7A competition. His stock is rising, and more offers are likely to come his way soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1201822' first='Jordan' last='Smith'] - DB- Houston County

IF you're looking for a fast-rising defensive back in Middle Georgia, [player_tooltip player_id='1201822' first='Jordan' last='Smith'] is your guy. A natural athlete with outstanding ball skills and a promising 6-foot-2 185-pound frame, Smith showed great instincts in coverage and a hard-hitting style of play against the run. He reacts quickly in coverage and closes well on the ball in order to make a play on it. He's a true weapon as a defender who can create turnovers. He's also a weapon on special teams. As a junior last year, the versatile defensive back made 34 tackles and one INT. The Houston County defender is seeing his recruitment pick up, earning new offers recently from USC, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, South Florida, among others.

Jordan Edmonds - ATH - Sprayberry

An outstanding natural athlete with tremendous ball skills and big-play ability. Edmonds is a fast-rising 2026 prospect who will quickly rise in the next Prep Redzone rankings update. He's a three-sport athlete with easy Power Five size at 6-foot-3 175-pounds. He can run, jump, hit and catch the ball as well as any 2026 prospect in Cobb County and beyond. He high-points the football well and has the ability to come down with a tough, eye-opening catch in traffic. He may not have lit up the stat sheet last year, but when you watch him play, the talent is easy to see. His recruitment is taking off right now, and he's earned new offers recently from Oklahoma, Tennessee, South Carolina, and USC. Look for more to come his way soon.
