As a sophomore last season, Luckie showed big play ability on a weekly basis and ended the season with 54 tackles, 29 TFLs and three sacks. Just a sophomore, Luckie has lived in the backfield last fall and did it against some excellent 7A competition. He reacts quickly in coverage and closes well on the ball in order to make a play on it. He's a true weapon as a defender who can create turnovers. He's also a weapon on special teams. As a junior last year, the versatile defensive back made 34 tackles and one INT. He high-points the football well and has the ability to come down with a tough, eye-opening catch in traffic. He may not have lit up the stat sheet last year, but when you watch him play, the talent is easy to see.
