Over the past 3 years, Vondersaar has been nothing but a reliable and steady contributor on the defensive side of the ball. Each of the past 3 years he’s been on the field, made plays, and developed. He’s improved each year as well. His sophomore year saw him break onto the scene getting his feet wet. He showcased that he could play, create some pressure, and rotate in on passing downs. His upperclassman years made him a more well-rounded player who could get the pressure and play the run. Over those 2 seasons, he put up 90 tackles, 16 TFLs, 9 sacks, and forced 1 fumble. He was fairly consistent throughout that 2-year span as well. He’s done a good job working on his frame, building his repertoire, and being able to come off the edge. I see him as an off-ball linebacker or strictly an edge, but it’s because he’s got that speed you want to see on the outside. A productive career for the Senior has him looking for a home as we near signing day.

Montez Jones Montez Jones 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB Lawrence North | 2024 State IN – Lawrence North – ATH – 5’11” 175lbs
One of the most elective players in the 2024 class over the past 3 years has been Jones. Wherever he’s touched the ball, good things have happened. The entire point of his career was to get the ball in his hands and let him go to work, wherever that was. In the first few years, it was primarily QB. He could throw, extend plays with his legs, and make highlight reel-type plays. He’s hard to bring down and is so wiggly that even when a defender has him, they have to be sure to bring him down. Throughout his career, he threw the ball, rushed the ball, caught the ball, and played defense, and special teams. He’s been on the field in every phase making plays. He’s got 33 passing TDs, 4112 passing yards, 1719 rushing yards, and 26 TDs on the ground, had 17 tackles this year, and was their punter this year, where he downed 5 punts within the 20-yard line. Everything Jones does on the field works because he’s such a good athlete and whoever brings him in, can mold him however they want.

Jarrin Alley Jarrin Alley 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Bloomington South | 2024 State IN – Bloomington South – QB – 6’2″ 195lbs
This is very likely the last time I get to cover Alley, and it’s been quite the ride. He’s been one of my favorite QBs in the class, and I will continue to pound the table for him until he ends up somewhere. He’s always been incredibly efficient and done nothing but improve. He’s got a well-built frame, he works hard, and I’ve gotten to know his father throughout the years. Alley loves ball, hard work, and seems to do all the little things right. The guys around him love him and love playing with him. His senior season was also arguably his best year as well. This season saw him come out and put up 66% completion on 273 attempts. He threw for 38 TDs and only had 4 picks. He then added 7 TDs on the ground. However, it was his efficiency in the passing game that made him so good, and them so hard to beat. Alley helped Bloomington South get their first 11-win season since 2016. The program this year with Alley leading the way was night and day different than it had been for almost a decade. Some guys come in, develop, and turn around a program and that’s exactly what Alley helped do in Bloomington, so I feel confident he can do that on Saturdays as well.

Memphis Louden Memphis Louden 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Bedford North Lawrence | 2024 State IN – Bedford North Lawrence – ATH – 6’1″ 205lbs
For 3 years, Louden has been gashing defenses with his arm and legs, and that’s finally come to an end as his high school career ends. He’s been a dynamic QB since he stepped on the field as a Sophomore as the starter. Since then, the only thing he’s done is throw for over 4000 yards and 36 TDs and then rush for over 1400 yards and 21 TDs. To have a high school career where you put up over 5500 scrimmage yards and 55+ TDs, you have to be pretty talented one way or the other. If he can develop in the passing game, he will quickly become a nightmare for defenses because he can already extend plays and make some wild throws. He’s good on the move and is just as creative as you’d hope. He can keep his eyes downfield and at other times he will just take off. He seems to have a good sense of when to either or, which is nice to see. Anytime he stepped on the field, he gave it his all. He leaves BNL as one of their most decorated players ever, and for good reason. Louden is incredibly talented and dynamic, and if he lands in the right program, can be that same impact player for them as well.
