As we have already done a lot of coverage on the senior class, I wanted to focus on the top players in the 2025, 26, and 27 classes from this past season. To kick this off, here is my 2023 All-Junior Offense for the state of Kentucky.
Brady Atwell Brady Atwell 6’3″ | 225 lbs | QB Owensboro Catholic | 2025 State KY is a player that shattered all expectations in impressive fashion this past season. He finished the year as one of the top passers in the entire country, completing 301/434 passes for 4,743 yards, 68 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 15 games. Atwell has a strong arm which he uses to stretch the field and hit his receivers in stride in the deep passing game. He also has shown impressive accuracy, putting the ball where only his intended receiver has a chance to catch it. Brady also led his team in rushing, finishing the season with 69 carries for 695 yards and 17 touchdowns. Atwell currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky and I expect more to come his way going into his senior year as he is a Division I caliber quarterback prospect.
Highlights
Giaonni Hunter Giaonni Hunter 5’11” | 210 lbs | RB Shelby County | 2025 State KY is a player that has been high on my radar for a while now and continued to stand out this season. He had a strong junior year, carrying the ball 225 times for 1,742 yards and 17 touchdowns in 10 games. Hunter is an explosive ball carrier that hits the running lane with a sense of urgency and has shown the ability to hit a second gear once he gets into the open field to run away from the defense. He has also shown the elusiveness to make defenders miss when they are able to catch up to him. Hunter also caught seven passes for 135 yards and a touchdown, and played a key role on defense at linebacker, finishing the season with 43 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, and one fumble recovery returned for a touchdown. Giaonni doesn’t currently hold any offers but I expect some to come his way going into his senior year as he has received some college interest and definitely has the talent to play at the next level.
Connor Hodge Connor Hodge 6’1″ | 160 lbs | ATH Christian Academy of Louisville | 2025 State KY is another player that has been high on my radar for quite some time and continued to impress this past season. Hodge played a huge role in CAL’s 3A State Championship run, catching 114 passes for 1,494 yards and 23 touchdowns in 15 games. He is an impressive route runner, showing the ability to use smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. Hodge also has the speed to take the top off the defense in the deep passing game and to turn short passes into big gains at any given moment. Connor also played a huge role on defense as a defensive back, finishing the season with 56 tackles, four tackles for loss, and 11 interceptions (two returned for touchdowns). Hodge currently holds multiple Division I offers and I expect that list to continue to grow as he is a very special talent.
Brock Coffman Brock Coffman 6’0″ | 160 lbs | WR Sayre School | 2025 State KY continued to prove that he is one of the best receivers in the state this past season. He had a very strong junior year, catching 67 passes for 1,193 yards and 24 touchdowns in 13 games. Coffman has explosive speed which he is able to use to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. He also is an impressive route runner, showing the ability to run a full route tree and use smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. Coffman also returned one punt for a touchdown and played a key role on defense, finishing the season with nine interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and one fumble recovery returned for a touchdown. Brock currently holds offers from Maryland and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way going into his senior year as he is a high caliber prospect.
Another junior wide receiver that stood out to me this past season was Isaiah Johnson Isaiah Johnson 5’8″ | 170 lbs | RB Great Crossing | 2024 State KY . Isaiah played a huge role in Cooper’s run to the 5A State Championship Game, catching 76 passes for 1,372 yards and 21 touchdowns in 15 games. Johnson is a very dangerous deep threat, showing the ability to use his quick release and explosive speed to blow by opposing defensive backs to create separation. He has also shown tremendous contested catch ability. Johnson has shown the athleticism to go up and catch passes at their highest point along with the hands to come away with those passes through contact. Isaiah currently holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky and I expect more to come his way as he is a Division I caliber prospect.

I have added Montavin Quisenberry Montavin Quisenberry 5’9″ | 160 lbs | ATH Boyle County | 2025 State KY as an “ATH” selection on this team as he did a little bit of everything during Boyle County’s 4A State Championship run this past season. He is a very dangerous deep threat at wide receiver where he is able to use his explosive speed to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Quisenberry is also electric after the catch, showing the ability to use his speed and elusiveness to turn short passes into big plays. Montavin finished his junior year with 43 catches for 864 yards and 12 touchdowns in 15 games. He also served as a home run threat in the run game, carrying the ball 82 times for 800 yards and 18 touchdowns. Quisenberry also threw one passing touchdown and returned three punts and two kickoffs for touchdowns. He also played a role on defense as a defensive back, finishing the season with 51 tackles, four tackles for loss, and two interceptions. Montavin currently holds offers from Ole Miss, Michigan, Kentucky, and Louisville, and I expect more to come his way as he is a truly special talent.
Isaac Sowells Jr. Isaac Sowells Jr. 6’2″ | 290 lbs | OL Louisville Male | 2025 State KY continued to establish himself as the top offensive lineman in the state in his class this past season. Sowells made the move to right tackle this past season where he continued to impress as a run blocker. He plays with a ton of physicality, exploding out of his stance and finishing his blocks through the whistle, resulting in several pancake blocks. Sowells also does a great job of getting to the second level quickly to pick up blocks in the open field. He was also impressive in pass protection, showing the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge and keep a strong base, not allowing for much penetration into the backfield. Sowells currently holds multiple Division I/Power 4 offers and I expect that list to grow as he is a high caliber prospect.
Highlights
Ben Stotts Ben Stotts 6’5″ | 305 lbs | OL Christian Academy Of Louisville | 2025 State KY is an offensive lineman that has been high on my radar for a while now and continued to impress this past season. Stotts lined up at guard where he was very impressive as a run blocker. He explodes out of his stance and does a great job of running his feet through contact to drive his man down the field. Stotts also does a great job of getting up to the second level and picking up blocks in open space. He also does a great job of absorbing contact as a pass blocker, showing the ability to keep a strong base and not allow much penetration into the pocket. Ben currently holds offers from Eastern Kentucky and North Alabama, and I expect more to come his way going into his senior year as he is a Division I caliber prospect.

Another junior offensive lineman that continued to stand out to me this past season was Dylan Stewart Dylan Stewart 6’5″ | 290 lbs | OL Conner | 2025 State KY from Conner. Stewart lined up at left tackle where he was dominant in the run game. He is a true mauler, showing the ability to explode out of his stance and drive his man out of the picture. Stewart also impressed in pass protection, showing the ability to get back into his pass sets quickly to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge while keeping a strong base to prevent penetration into the pocket. To wrap up my 2023 All-Junior Offense in the state of Kentucky, I have Cameron Bell Cameron Bell 6’3″ | 260 lbs | OL South Warren | 2025 State KY . Bell is a player that jumped onto my radar this past season as he had a very strong junior year at right tackle. He was very dominant in the run game, showing the ability to drive his man off the line of scrimmage and finish his blocks several yards down the field. Bell also did a great job of getting to the second level and picking up blocks in open space. He was also impressive in pass protection, showing the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge and continue working in his pass sets to keep them away from his quarterback.
