In this scouting report, we will take a closer look at some of the standout players in this class, highlighting their strengths and overall potential.
Has a strong lower body to hold the point of attack in the run game. Uses his length effectively to lock out opponents, and shows heavy hands to discard blockers. Length and separation should allow him to make tackles while engaged. Able to kick inside and walk back interior linemen with his bull rush, showing impressive functional strength and solid leg drive. Can be a handful as a power rusher, attracting additional linemen and freeing up opportunities for teammates. Shows the ability to fire out with some explosiveness and threaten to skinny through gaps and disrupt plays. Mixes in a few different moves, primarily swim and rip moves.
Highlights
A well-built runner at 5’11″, 200 pounds, he has impressive speed and quickness for his size, with the ability to beat defenders to the edge and weave through traffic once he finds a lane. Between the tackles, he runs with good burst to rip off chunks when the blocking is there but can navigate through congestion with solid knee-bend, finishing with pop.

Playing with a sense of urgency, he does a good job of reading keys to locate the ball and flowing in the play direction by sifting through defenders. He has quick feet when backpedaling as a high safety and can make clean transitions to drive on a spot. He reads keys quickly and navigates through congestion effectively to get himself involved in the play. He showed solid technique to stay square.

He brings an aggressive, relentless demeanor with a quick trigger when reading keys between the tackles, and is athletic enough to play in space as well. Mcgaskin is at his most comfortable when flowing toward the play direction in the run game, doing a good job of playing with patience, keeping his shoulders square, and getting extension to lock out blockers. He’s a reliable tackler who shows good contact balance when defending inside runs.
Cameron Pritchett
Cameron Pritchett
Pritchett fires out with power and explosiveness to overwhelm opponents on contact; shows good pop in his hands. Able to anchor effectively at the line of scrimmage against power, with good leverage and knee-bend. Does a good job of keeping his shoulders square. Has good recognition skills to locate the football, playing with discipline in his run fits. Heavy, active hands allow him to stack and shed at the appropriate time. Gets his hands up to contest passing lanes.
