At this point in the week, we are going to take a look at some recruiting news making headlines in the Lone Star State. We have commitments as well as scholarship offers to examine this week. Hawkins is a signal caller that does an impressive job of throwing an accurate football. Hawkins does a great job of throwing the football while on the run. He keeps his eyes down the field and is looking to make the throw before taking off with the football. Last week, Hawkins earned a scholarship offer from the Duke Blue Devils. He is a prospect to watch out for over the next few months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='402714' first='Raycine' last='Guillory Jr']-Running Back-Aledo-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Aledo is a talented football team that always seems to have plenty of talented prospects. Ray Guillory is a running back that has a knack for finding the clear rushing lane. He has tremendous speed and can explode through the hole quickly. Guillory makes opposing defenders miss and he gets into the second level quickly. The talented Aledo running back earned a scholarship offer from Oklahoma State. Guillory is a running back to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='286948' first='Ashton' last='Jones']-Wide Receiver-Shadow Creek-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='286948' first='Ashton' last='Jones'] plays multiple positions for Shadow Creek. He can play tight end or wide receiver positions with impressive effectiveness. Jones can block defenders or run some smooth routes in the passing game. He has the athleticism to cause opposing defensive backs plenty of problems. The Shadow Creek wide receiver placed a commitment to the Baylor Bears this week. Jones has the potential for a big 2024.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jaylen Carter-Defensive Back-Summer Creek-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jaylen Carter has the speed in the defensive secondary to give opposing wide receiver's problems. He plays the ball well in the air and does not hesitate to make plays on the football. Carter has no trouble separating the ball from the ball carrier. Over the weekend, Carter earned a scholarship offer from Texas Wesleyan University. Williams has impressive awareness and tracks the ball well in the air. He will not hesitate to make a play on the ball while it is in the air. Last week, Williams signed his national of letter intent to play his college football for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Williams has the potential to do big things on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
