Today, we will be focusing on some intriguing offensive linemen worth keeping an eye on in the future. These guys left it all on the field and have established themselves as playmakers at the line of scrimmage.
rnAt the top of my list of notable performers is Isaac Sowells Jr. Isaac Sowells Jr. 6’2″ | 290 lbs | OL Louisville Male | 2025 State KY , an offensive lineman at Louisville Male High School. What impresses me the most about Sowells is his ability to quickly blast the defense off the snap, using his size and strength to stun the opposition and create space for his teammates to advance production on the ground. I also like how Sowells can disrupt the defense in the pocket, proving he can absorb pressure, stop the blitz and protect his quarterback.

rnI am additionally impressed with Max Dotson Max Dotson 6’1″ | 280 lbs | OL Belfry | 2025 State KY , an offensive lineman at Belfry High School. Dotson stands out with his ability to block tackles and open up space in the pocket, showcasing his physicality and durable edge when matched up against the defensive line. Another facet of Dotson’s playstyle that made a difference last year was his ability to utilize his strength to push the defense into the backfield, creating an assortment of space for the offense to make plays.

rnClaiming the number three spot on my list is Hayes Preston Hayes Preston 6’3″ | 240 lbs | OL Lexington Christian Academy | 2025 State KY , an offensive lineman at Lexington Christian Academy. Preston’s size and strength made a huge impact last season as he proved himself on both the offensive and defensive line. What stands out about Preston on the offensive end is his ability to pounce on the defense in the pocket and prolong the snap with his ability to shut down the blitz. I also like how Preston can block and knock the defense to the ground in the backfield and from along the edge.

rnComing in at number five on my list is Dylan Peck Dylan Peck 6’4″ | 240 lbs | OL Johnson Central | 2026 KY , an offensive lineman at Johnson Central High School. What makes Peck such a gamechanger at the line of scrimmage is his ability to quickly disrupt tackles, allowing for his running back to escape the pocket and push into the backfield. I also like Peck’s footwork, speed and ability to quickly knock the defense around, utilizing his blocking power to cause major defensive disorganization.

rnAlso worth mentioning is Fisher Brinegar Fisher Brinegar 6’5″ | 280 lbs | OL Moody | 2027 AL , an offensive lineman at Mayfield High School.
