Peyton Parnell Peyton Parnell 6’2″ | 180 lbs | WR Mojave | 2025 NV has developed into a true receiving prospect over his high school career. Peyton won MVP for the Mojave Rattlers, but I am surprised to see the decorated prospect receive so little attention from colleges this fall. Be on the lookout for his regional recruitment to heat up going into his senior year. Coaches like Peyton’s size, strength, and willingness to be physical as a lead blocker in the run game. Next level burst and long speed gets displayed gaining vertical separation up the seam. Peyton’s length, athleticism, and solid hands suggest he has all the tools to be a legitimate redzone threat in college.
Highlights
D’Angelo Hagans D’Angelo Hagans 6’1″ | 185 lbs | ATH Silverado | 2025 State NV received his first offer from Northern Arizona in October. Be on the lookout for more schools surrounding Nevada to offer the talented playmaker in 2024. D’Angelo’s burst, fast feet, and next level quickness allows him to shake press defenders and gain vertical separation in a hurry. Strong hands, toughness, and a large radius highlights D’Angelo’s ability to absorb contact and make tough catches in traffic. Good size, tracking ability, long speed, and adjustment ability at the catchpoint suggests D’Angelo can play multiple receiver spots in college.
Derek Meadows Derek Meadows 6’6″ | 195 lbs | WR Bishop Gorman | 2025 State NV is set to have a bigger role for the defending state champs next fall. After visiting Notre Dame again in October, I would not be surprised to see Derek’s 2024 full of more scholarship offers. Coaches love Derek’s rare combination of length, burst, and top speed shown gaining separation versus press defenders. Next level strength and good physicality shows easily locking up DBs as a blocker in the run game. Derek’s size, radius, athleticism, and adjustment ability suggests he has all the tools to be a legitimate red zone threat in college.
I am finally concluding Adonis Vaughn Adonis Vaughn 6’0″ | 160 lbs | ATH Sierra Vista | 2025 State NV will be a versatile offensive weapon in college. His length, athletic radius, strong hands, elusiveness, and separation ability suggests Adonis will be a do-it-all receiver at the next level. Be on the lookout for Adonis’ offensive recruitment to blow up in 2024. Adonis’ long speed shown as a returner and quickness displayed making defenders miss highlights his potential to be a dynamic playmaker in space. Good balance, strength, and explosiveness gets displayed accelerating through contact while staying on his feet. Vision, burst, and lateral quickness allows Adonis to shake defenders and create huge gains with limited space to work with.
After putting up over 400 yards during Bishop Gorman’s state championship run, I am confident Brandon Gaea Brandon Gaea 6’1″ | 185 lbs | WR Bishop Gorman | 2025 State NV is next in line to be a heavily recruited playmaker out of the Las Vegas powerhouse. He received some attention from Hawaii this fall, so be on the lookout for schools closer to Nevada to offer the versatile receiver next year. Brandon shows a good combination of size, strength, and toughness by consistently fighting through contact and finishing runs falling forward. Good length, balance, and athleticism shows adjusting to balls thrown overhead near the sidelines. Coaches like Brandon’s quick feet and next level burst shown creating space at the top of routes.
