Brant is the next up-coming FCS ceiling signal caller that should see his stock rise this off-season as he impresses at multiple camps, showcases and along the 7on7 circuit. In his Sophomore campaign for Timberline, he had a stellar season, passing for 1,700 yards and 14 touchdowns, along with another 300+ yards rushing, with 4 TD’s on the ground. He is a high academic kid, that should see no shortage of college interest come his way as he gears up for his Junior season. He is very athletic in the pocket and knows when to scramble, but keeps his eyes downfield and shows he can throw from various platforms and arm angles accurately. He has a strong arm, quick release and excels at intermediate passes while able to fit the ball into tight windows. As he continues to grow and develop, he will only improve upon his arm strength and develop that open field gear, and become a truly elusive and dangerous pocket passer.
Highlights
Nelson is another big piece of this very talented 2026 quarterback group across Idaho, and turned some heads in his Sophomore season for Mountain View. He has the physical tools to pass the eye test for the next level, and has good size and length for the position, and is only going to continue to grow and develop. He has a strong arm downfield, can put good air under the ball to let his receivers run over the top, and processes plays quickly while not afraid to take what is given underneath with plus pocket mobility. Last off-season, he impressed and passed the eye test at multiple showcases he attended, tested well and followed that up by putting up solid numbers for a second year prep player this Fall. In eleven games, he passed for 1,400 yards and had over a 60% completion percentage, previewing what is to come over the next two seasons.
Highlights
Tanner is the next potential big time tackle prospect coming out of Rocky Mountain, and has elite athleticism and feet for the position and is a no brainer FCS+ caliber kid by the time it’s all said and done. He is a true road grader in the trenches that gets off the ball quickly and immediently sets his hands inside while showing leg drive, a strong base and the ability to finish blocks downfield. He has tremendous movement abilities for his size and flashes the ability to pull across the LOS and kick out outside linebackers and defensive ends, while excelling at taking angles to the second level, blocking in space and getting a hat on flowing defenders quickly. Tanner is a natural bender in his stance, has terrific feet in space and movement abilities, and will only continue to pack on more weight and turn into a next level tackle prospect. It will be very interesting to see who offers the ’26 prospect first.
