Top performers from the PIAA Quarterfinals (1A & 2A Selections)

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>South Williamsport 33 - Cambria Heights 0</strong></h2>   <p>2024 ATH Kaiser Kistner was fantastic in South Williamsport's 33-0 win over Cambria Heights with 21 carries for 125 yards and two touchdowns. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/CCHastings1863/status/1728573682677940448?s=20 </div></figure>   <p>South Williamsport will now take on Steelton-Highspire in the 1A semifinals this weekend.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Steelton-Highspire 43 - Lackawanna Trail</strong> 25</h2>   <p>2024 QB [player_tooltip player_id='64022' first='Alex' last='Erby'] is looking to finish his career off with another state championship and over the weekend, Erby and the Steelton-Highspire Rollers got one step closer to finishing the job. Erby was 20-for-25 in the game for the Rollers with 337 yards and four touchdowns <a href="https://www.easternpafootball.com/high-octane-offense-leads-steelton-highspire-to-43-25-win-over-lackawanna-trail/">according to Eastern PA Football</a>. He also had one rushing touchdown in the game. The Navy commitment is one of the greatest quarterbacks we've seen in the history of the state and could finish his career with three state championships in four seasons as the Rollers' starting quarterback. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/EvanWheaton/status/1728298267304132849?s=20 </div></figure>   <p>Steelton-Highspire will now take on South Williamsport in the 1A semifinals this weekend.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Fort Cherry 42 - South Side 28</strong></h2>   <p>It feels like we're talking about [player_tooltip player_id='402456' first='Matt' last='Sieg'] all the time but he keeps on putting up huge performances and this past weekend against South Side was no exception. <a href="https://tribhssn.triblive.com/fort-cherry-on-top-rangers-qb-matt-sieg-beat-south-side-to-win-programs-1st-wpial-title/">According to Pittsburgh Tribune-Reivew</a>, Sieg had 344 total yards (166 passing yards, 178 rushing yards) in the game and four touchdowns with two through the air and two on the ground. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/mwhiteburgh/status/1728096520317104607?s=20 </div></figure>   <p>Fort Cherry will face Redbank Valley this weekend in the 1A semifinals.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Redbank Valley 44 - Cambridge Springs 0</strong></h2>   <p>2024 ATH Mason Clouse had a huge game for Redbank Valley in their dominant 44-0 win over Cambridge Springs. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound did it all in the win, with three receptions for 107 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, he had two interceptions and one pass deflection. For the season, Clouse has totaled 57 receptions for 1,069 yards and 18 touchdowns, and a total of 1,453 all-purpose yards. All around a tremendous athlete who also is a standout on the hardwood and the diamond.</p>   <p>Redbank Valley will face Fort Cherry this weekend in the 1A semifinals.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Dunmore 41 - Camp Hill 25</strong></h2>   <p>Dunmore continued their playoff run with a big win over Camp Hill and it was 2024 ATH [player_tooltip player_id='474058' first='Danny' last='Pigga'] who led the way for the Bucks with 195 rushing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the win. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/DPigga/status/1728442665727861107?s=20 </div></figure>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Southern Columbia Area 18 - Bald Eagle Area</strong> 8</h2>   <p>2024 ATH Louden Murphy took over in the Tigers' win over Bald Eagle with 12 carries for 143 yards and two touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='399258' first='Garrett' last='Garcia'] gets much of the attention in the Southern Columbia backfield but Murphy has been a great tailback for the Tigers as well. </p>   <p>Southern Columbia will face Dunmore next weekend in the 2A Semifinals. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/LoudenMurphy/status/1729175945381134484?s=20 </div></figure>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Westinghouse 36 - Farrell 20</strong></h2>   <p>Westinghouse quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1325775' first='Khalil' last='Green'] had an efficient day in the 36-20 win over Farrell. He completed 11-of-17 passes in the game for 239 yards and a trio of touchdown passes. He also had one rushing touchdown in the game. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/PFN_Luxy/status/1728218065287151676?s=20 </div></figure>   <p>Westinghouse will challenge Beaver Falls next weekend in the 2A semifinals.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Beaver Falls 14 - Steel Valley 12</strong></h2>   <p>The miraculous run for Beaver Falls continued over the weekend with Beaver Falls upsetting Steel Valley 14-12 to win the WPIAL Class 2A title on Friday.
