Fledderman leads the sophomore tackle leaders across the state, and has put up huge numbers in his second season the the Vikings. He has racked up 82 tackles, 4 TFL’s and 5 sacks in his Sophomore campaign, and is just under the ten tackle per game mark. He is a very athletic kid that can bang in the box, cover when needed and applies pressure on signal callers from various angles with pass rush abilities. He is one that will enter into our rankings in the next update, and a sure fire name to note as we head into this off-season within the 2026 class.
Runquist is a bit undersized for the position, but flies around with a high motor, and plays tough for his size while always around the ball and having his hand in plays outside the box. He can play either outside or inside backer, and could possibly find a home at the next level as he continues to grow and develop physically. He has a quick trigger, downhill mentality that can make tackles in space, takes the proper angles and is also able to cover downfield against backs. He went over the 80 tackle mark in 2023, with 6 TFL’s and was averaging just over 10 tackles per game which is very impressive for a second year prep player.
Summers is a true mike backer with a strong build, thumper mentality and plays with violence in the box. He does a nice job at reading his keys, scraping over the top and weaving through traffic to make tackles between the tackles. He flashes closing speed to chase down ball carriers and can quickly redirect from pass to run while also showing some blitzing abilities as well with good timing and a few pass rush moves at his disposal. The rising Junior put up big numbers and boasted 70 tackles, 10 TFL’s and 2 sacks this season. Summers is another kid that will enter into our 2026 rankings in the next update and should fit nicely at that inside linebacker role for the next two seasons for Madison.
