Jonathan Gabriel | DE | West Bloomfield | Hudl

Gabriel has a relentless motor and has the ability to run down ball carriers. His outstanding pursuit and ability to run down ball carriers will be crucial for West Bloomfield in their sem-final matchup against South Field A&T. Gabriel does a good job of working through traffic and he does a good job of using his agility to get past blockers. West Bloomfield have many talented defensive players and with teams keying on his teammate and Colorado commit [player_tooltip player_id='80954' first='Brandon' last='Davis-Swain'] you have to believe that will open the door for Gabriel to have favorable matchups.

[player_tooltip player_id='188000' first='Wendell' last='Smith'] | CB | South A&T | Hudl

Smith plays very tight man to man coverage on wide receivers. He has a quick back pedal and does a good job of bursting out of breaks. He is quick to read plays and is a good tackler. Smith's ability will be key to slowing down West Bloomfield's pass game. It will be interesting to see how often West Bloomfield will test Smith. I like Wendall Smith's game a lot and he is a guy who has ideal traits for collegiate level.

[player_tooltip player_id='251363' first='Kevin' last='Simes'] | WR | Belleville | Hudl

Simes is a guy who flat out catches every ball thrown near him. He makes great adjustments to throws and does and excellent job of getting yards after catch. He was a guy who caught my attention last year with his kick return abilities. Simes runs hard and plays fearless. Belleville has so many playmakers that opposing teams can forget about that they have guys like Simes. I don't think Davison will forget about him but also Belleville knows that if they don't cover him tightly he can make plays in the open field. I like Simes game a lot and have been very impressed both times I saw him play in person.

[player_tooltip player_id='80934' first='Carter' last='Herriman'] | RB/LB | Davison | Hudl

Herriman may not be much of a secret weapon since he is one of the Davison's best players and maybe their best player. Herriman is an excellent linebacker who has been a tackling machine this season for Davison. The reason I have him here listed as a secret weapon is because of his underrated ability as a running back. He is excellent running between the tackles and picking up tough yardage. Herriman's running may play a key part in Davison coming out victorious against Belleville.

[player_tooltip player_id='212356' first='Ben' last='Nichols'] | OT | Davison | Hudl

Nichols is an excellent offensive tackle for Davison. I have really been impressed by how good of an athlete he. He moves very well and stood out at our showcase camps. Nicholas will play a big part in Davison winning their matchup with Belleville. Nicholas is a very physical run blocker who can drive a guy completely out of the play. Davison has to win the line of scrimmage to come out victorious in this game and Nicholas will be a key factor to Davison winning the line of scrimmage.
