Stepp flashed natural talent and potential as a perimeter CB in his freshman season for Bishop Gorman. He makes great use of his length both at the LOS in press coverage and at the catch point. He looks fluid, technical, and efficient in his movement when gaining depth, reading routes, and breaking on the ball. Stepp, who picked up his first offer from UNLV in the summer, should be rising up the rankings and attracting heavy interest this offseason.
Highlights
Ulofoshio’s a disruptive DT with underrated speed and explosiveness off the ball. He generates power with leverage and pad level out of his stance, uses violent hands to shed, and deploys an effective swim move over slower moving IOL. Ulofoshio offers physical and athletic upside worth taking a look at, competing on one the most talented and deepest DL units in the country.
Hitzeman’s an impactful DE for Liberty that can set edges and make disruptive plays around the LOS. He does a good job of staying lateral to the LOS and staying tight to the OT as a cutback defender. He can lock out with OTs, read the backfield, and shed to come off and make plays on the ball. Hitzeman’s an intriguing DE with upside in his overall motor and fundamentals of the position.
Emarion Jones
Emarion Jones
Jones has flashed versatility lining up both off the ball and on the edge of the LOS as a senior. He shows athleticism and physicality filling holes from his ILB spot and dropping into zone coverage over the middle. He’s a high-effort tackler that’s relentless to the ball and delivers strong contact in space. Jones has been one of Liberty’s most disruptive defenders this season leading the team in sacks (4) and TFLs (6).
