<p>Reminder for the postseason: Because of the shift from five classifications (Class 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A) in the regular season to eight divisions (Division IV, III, II and I on both the "Select" and "Non-Select" sides) in the postseason, we've adjusted our "small schools" list to include both Division III's and IV's and our "large schools" list to include both Division I's and II's.</p>

<p>Foster helped score one touchdowns on a 64-yard return of a blocked field goal and set up another with his 73-yard kickoff return in the Comets' 43-0 shutout of Ascension Episcopal to move on to the Division-III Select quarterfinals.</p>

<p>The Bulldogs' junior standout continued his eye-popping season with his biggest performance yet in a 77-43 upset of Opelousas Catholic to advance to the Division-IV Select quarterfinals. Elzy rushed 27 times for 461 yards and a playoff record-tying nine touchdowns.</p>

<p>The senior back rushed 12 times for 142 yards and three touchdowns in his Giants' 46-7 rout of district rival Caldwell Parish in the Division-III Non-Select bracket. Jones broke his program's single-season rushing record in the process, now heading into the quarters at 1,965 and counting. </p>
