High school football players from every corner of Louisiana — and even dipping into Mississippi and Alabama — visited Baton Rouge on Saturday to participate in the Prep Redzone Louisiana Stock Up Showcase.

The network's second-annual Louisiana-based event, held at the new Elite Training Academy near LSU, featured standout performances from every position group and every high school class.

Here's a look at a few of the top eye-catchers among the wide receivers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1250291' first='Alex' last='Fontenot'] — 6-2, 185 WR — Alexandria (2027)

The 1,000-yard Alexandria receiver continues to make his case among Louisiana's top 2027 wide receivers with his performances every time out from Friday nights in the fall to 7-on-7 and camp settings. Fontenot ran well to start the day, especially among the bigger targets, with a top-five 40-yard time overall at 4.53 seconds, a 7.07-second three-cone and 4.34-second shuttle and successfully attacked every level of the field in one-on-ones, including blowing by defenders with vertical speed few at the event could keep up with.

Brody Diel — 6-2, 175 WR/DB — Central (2027)

The two biggest targets were selected by coaches as the top two receivers as Diel joined Fontenot in the final choices for best-on-best one-on-ones to punctuate the event. Diel ran solid times as well with a 7.19-second three-cone and 4.44-second shuttle and a 40-yard dash in the 4.6-range and boasted one of the day's better broad jumps at 9 feet, 4 inches. He was also able to successfully push downfield for deep shots, but also particularly stood out with good breaks on routes coming back to the ball and using his body well to box out defenders' potential paths to the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1602865' first='Jaden' last='Johnson'] — 5-7, 135 WR — Minden (2028)

The Crimson Tide's sophomore speedster was among the returning standouts from last year's inaugural Prep Redzone Louisiana Stock Up Showcase and put together another impressive day right out the gate. Johnson ran a 4.48-second 40-yard dash, the day's top time and among the best shuttles with a 4.35-second time. And the smooth, sharp route-runner and sure-handed receiver consistently won his one-on-one matchups.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581316' first='Rylan' last='Delaune'] — 5-6, 125 WR — St. Amant (2028)

Another familiar face from last year's top performers, Delaune's testing numbers weren't the eye-catchers of some of the other players on the list, but perhaps more a reflection of needed more work on those drills' execution than of his actual athleticism. The Gators' sophomore's quickness stood out throughout individual drills and one-on-ones where he consistently created separation and made even an acrobatic, leaping and focused sideline catch in one of his more tightly covered reps.

JerZyion Levingston — 6-1, 160 WR/DB — Homer (2027)

"JZ" is one of Louisiana's notable sleeper prospects to watch this offseason after an impressive junior campaign on both sides of the ball for his Pelicans, and he started his camp schedule with one of the strongest showings at the Stock Up Showcase. Levingston, also a track standout, is a lean, fluid athlete who was among the top testers across the board with a 4.55-second 40-yard dash, 7.03-second three-cone and 4.28-second shuttle and a 9-foot-2.5-inch broad jump and about the top performers in competitive reps, slipping his way free and catching passes all over the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='2078827' first='Chad' last='Aguillard'] — 5-8, 165 WR — Livonia (2027)

Livonia's rising senior was another smaller slot receiver with a notable performance with some of the day's best testing numbers with a 6.88-second three-cone and 4.56-second 40-yard dash that were both just a few hundredths of a second off the top of those leaderboards, a solid 4.44-second shuttle and two of the longer broad jump reps at 9 feet, 3 inches and 9 feet, 2 inches.

[player_tooltip player_id='1392973' first='Ashton' last='Joseph'] — 6-0, 165 WR — Lafayette Renaissance Charter (2028)

The Tigers' multisport standout, a fluid athlete who already holds a McNeese State offer, measured in as the tallest, longest non-senior wide receiver at the event and tested well with the day's top shuttle time of 4.22 seconds and three cone (7.04 seconds), 40-yard dash (4.63 seconds) and broad jump (9 feet, 4 inches) all among the best.

[player_tooltip player_id='1254574' first='Terrance' last='Hays'] — 6-0, 175 WR — Airline (2027)

The rising senior was another strong athletic-tester with a 7.00-second three-cone drill that particularly stood out and a solid 4.44-second shuttle and 9-foot broad jump and, with some tough catches through contact and on diving plays, was among the last receivers standing through competitive one-on-ones as coaches whittled down to the position MVPs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2075026' first='Marcus' last='Watson'] — 6-1, 160 WR/DB — Central (2027)

The Wildcats' rising senior made a strong case as the top athlete at the event, exploding for easily the top two broad jumps of 10 feet and 10 feet, 2.5 inches and running the second-fastest 40-yard dash at 4.50 seconds and solid three-cone (7.28 seconds) and shuttle (4.41 seconds) drills.
