Using his smaller frame to his advantage by staying small in holes then escaping to daylight with quick feet. Every time he touches the pill he is a threat to go the distance.  This year he finished with almost 1500 all purpose yards. He is strong with sneaky speed to finish long runs. I call him a hopper because he has that unique gallop in and out of cuts that resembles James Cook (Buffalo Bills). He is a pro style ball carrier that looks for work with or without the football. Reed is braking all arm tackles so you better bring more to the party to get him down. He's arguably just as good on the defensive side of the ball so flinching on contact is a no, no.  Reed has meaty glutes, quads. and a collective lower half that can carry the load. In 2022 he made it known at  5'10 200lbs he's a grown man. Al Pops was on point with his critic and I am going to double down and say this kid is a monster of sorts. There are college backs that are not privy to his size. This kid works hard in the weight room and it shows. The most impressive thing about Belyeu is he got sweet feet like the littler backs. His mentally oozes off his highlights to be a punishing back that will make you choice how to get in his way later in the game. I also like how he's not a one trick pony in the sense of just pounding the ball down the A gap. Nope he will take a toss outside and put his foot in the ground. I'm excited to see his maturation over the next couple years.
