Claiming the third place spot on my list is Amare McKenzie Amare McKenzie Amare McKenzie 5'2" | 115 lbs | ATH Knox. Catholic | 2028 TN , a running back at Alcoa Middle School. In addition to outstanding size and speed, what stood out about McKenzie was his durability in the pocket, his ability to utilize his strong footwork and his explosive movement. I also liked how McKenzie maneuvered the field, proving he could dodge and weave pressure and quickly change direction.

Amare McKenzie Amare McKenzie Amare McKenzie 5'2" | 115 lbs | ATH Knox. Catholic | 2028 TN is a smaller back that has elite speed. He is a Jr. Olympian that plays basketball and baseball as well. Needless to say he is an experienced athlete in many arenas. As a ball carrier, he runs very patient to the first level, allowing blocks to set up. Then Amare becomes a blur! Using his smaller frame to his advantage by staying small in holes then escaping to daylight with quick feet. Every time he touches the pill he is a threat to go the distance.  This year he finished with almost 1500 all purpose yards. He’ll be at the PRZ Next Middle School Camp in Tennessee this January, to put it on display.
