Blanchard was a consistent catcher throughout the season. At 6’4″ 215 pounds, he has a big frame and utilizes it to his advantage. He accounted for 27 receptions, 376 yards and 6 touchdowns. Blanchard has good athletic ability due to very good speed, good acceleration and solid change of direction. He’s a strong athlete which helps him become a very good blocker. He demonstrates a low pad level to out leverage the defensive line. Good hand placement to control and steer defenders allowing him to create holes for the running game. Holds his own against edge rushers too. Blanchard has good mental processing. He’s able to exploit the zone and get open. He’s a natural catcher, and plucks the ball out of the air with ease. Good body control to adjust above and below his frame. Good separation quickness due to good athletic ability to take the top off a defense.

Jack Heath
Jack Heath is a big hog mollie. He measures at 6’6″ 310 pounds and dominates on the offensive line. Heath’s a mauler. He’s very strong and in one play he took down a defender with one arm. Heath has solid quickness coming out of his stance. Starts with a low pad level to out leverage the defensive line. Impressive at 6’6″ to achieve good low pad level. Harder to do for taller linemen. Has good hand placement to control and steer DL, creating holes or extra time for his QB. He’ll use his strength to push defensive linemen into the 2nd level. Solid speed from combination blocks at the first level into the second. Good anchor against the bull rush, and will swat defender’s arms to create extra time.

He’s got good separation quickness by using good athletic ability and mental processing. He’s a natural catcher and will pluck the ball out of the air. He’s lengthy and will adjust above his frame to make the catch. Home run speed creates good yards after catch (YAC). Great player who’s just getting started.

Crowe had a killer season. He had 101 total tackles (65 solo, 36 assisted) 29.5 TFL and 15 sacks. He’s 6’4″ 225 pounds, but he can move! Crowe’s a game changer on the defensive side. On the tape, he was throwing down blockers with ease and just runs through the offensive line. Looks like a man amongst boys. He has shown good mental processing. A play that stood out to me was how he’d read the read option and get a TFL. Crowe will use a low pad level to out leverage the offensive line. Good bull rush, and good bend around the edge. Excited to see how he does at the showcase to boost his stock even more.
