Continue ReadingRoss made a splash this season and earned a spot onto the rankings immediately. He leads the state with 7 interceptions and even had 2 games with 2 interceptions within a month. He attacks the ball in the air and shows good awareness when in zone coverage. Expect his recruiting to pick up this offseason after putting on a dominant showing in 2023, I’m looking forward to seeing more of him over this offseason.
Vasi is a prototype QB, he has great size at 6’5 210lb, is a pocket passer and shows that he can make some difficult throws. He can make the hole shot down the numbers and showed the ability to throw on the run. Hallas threw for over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns, helping lead Churchill to a 10-1 record and a strong chance in the playoffs this post season.
Kemajou is another prospect who burst onto the scene this season. He’s powerful and quick and puts it on full display on both sides of the ball. Defensively he’s an edge rusher but had impressive moments in the interior line too. Kemajou’s defensive stats were 6.5 sacks and 46 tackles. Offensively he plays right tackle where he had 8 pancakes and the big guy even got to run the ball. He just received his third offer from the University of Maryland today, expect for a few more offers to roll in over the next few months.
Ogbogu is a transfer who’s had an immediate impact. He has division 1 prospect speed and strength, and he uses his hands very well to get to the QB. He shows some athleticism running down on kick offs and has no problem chasing down QB’s in the back field. More coaches should be taking notice to Ogbogu very soon, so far, he currently holds offers from UNC-Charolette and the University of Maryland.
Levrone is picking up momentum and hitting his stride. He’s found a home on defense at corner after playing both sides as a sophomore. Physically he’s packed on some muscle since last season and puts it to use in the defensive backfield, he’s able to separate defenders from the ball with his hits. He breaks on the ball and shows closing speed and acceleration. Levrone also puts his 4.5 speed on display on special teams as a return man. This is a prospect I think will have something special in store for 2024.
