<p>Here is a look at five top games scheduled for October 6 and one prospect from each game to watch.</p>

<p><strong>Wichita Collegiate (5-0) @ Andale (5-0) – </strong>Andale will get a test this week from the Collegiate Spartans. Both 3A schools are undefeated but play in different districts. This could be a preview of a playoff game later down the road.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='145515' first='Hudson' last='Ferralez']</strong>, QB, 6'1” 205, Collegiate, ‘24</p>

<p>Ferralez is one of the top quarterbacks in the state. He has thrown for 1,145 yards and 17 touchdowns in five games for the Collegiate. He has a quick release and throws an accurate ball.</p>

<p><strong>Bishop Miege (4-1) @ St. Thomas Aquinas (4-1) – </strong>Two 4-1 teams in Class 4A clash in Overland Park when Bishop Miege and St. Thomas Aquinas. The outcome of this match-up will play a role in sub-state seeding.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1107712' first='David' last='Garcia']</strong>, RB, 5'9”, 155, Miege, ‘24</p>

<p>The Stags running back is a solid offensive weapon. He can break ankles or bull over defenders. He can catch the ball out of the backfield. Through five games he has racked up big yardage and is frequently finding the end zone.</p>

<p><strong>Louisburg (5-0) at Tonganoxie (4-1) – </strong>This match-up very well could determine who wins the Frontier League, although Spring Hill might have something to say about that outcome.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='544724' first='Colton' last='Brusven'],</strong> RB, 5'10”, 175, Tonganoxie, ‘24</p>

<p>Brusven is closing in on a 1,000-yard rushing season. The Tonganoxie senior has rushed for 891 yards and 12 touchdowns through five games. He is a solid running back between the tackles and has break-away speed when he gets in the open field.</p>

<p><strong>Great Bend (3-2) @ Liberal (5-0)</strong> – With a win the Liberal Redskins can begin to take a hold on the Western half of the state in Class 5A. Liberal is one of only two remaining undefeated teams in Class 5A along with Eisenhower (Goddard).</p>

<p><strong>J. Brooks Kappelmann</strong>, QB, 6'2”, 200, Liberal, ‘24</p>

<p>Liberal's quarterback is having a big season and is underrated because he plays out west. The senior pocket passer has thrown for 1,195 yards and 12 touchdowns through five games.</p>

<p><strong>Gardner-Edgerton (5-0) @ Lawrence (4-1) – </strong>Gardner-Edgerton is the final remaining undefeated team in the eastern side of the state. Lawrence is still fighting to be a top seed representing the western side of the state.</p>

<p>Bowen is a solid dual-threat quarterback for the Chesty Lions. He has thrown for 777 yards and six touchdowns through five games. He has also rushed for 614 yards and seven touchdowns.</p>
