Highlights
McCulley is a skilled DB with underrated athleticism from his FS spot. He’s a willing and capable tackler that closes space with urgency from the back-half and can align closer to the LOS as a nickel/hybrid. He’s most effective in coverage as a deep-third safety where he can jump deep in-breakers and use his strong ball-tracking to create turnovers/PBUs. McCulley’s totaled 29 tackles and 2 INTs through eight games for Ventura this season.
Highlights
Kassab is one of the top two-way players (WR/DB) in San Diego’s North County and one of the more underrated prospects in the area. He produces explosive plays as a vertical threat with his ball-tracking and ability to make contested catches in tight 1v1 coverage. He’s an effective cover corner that shows instincts coming off primary threats to make plays on balls in flight. His ball skills, athleticism, and overall skillset should translate well to either side of the ball at the next level. Kassab leads Ramona in receiving with 25 catches for 355 yards and 6 TDs on the season.
Highlights
Bjerke has quietly been climbing the 2024 OL ranks picking up his first two offers over the summer- Marshall and Georgetown- and just added another two in September- Stony Brook and USD. He’s a big, physical presence at 6’6”/315 that can move defenders off the spot from his OT position. He’s a wall in pass-pro and can dig out tough blocks in the run game. He’s a strong LT for Cathedral Catholic but his movement, skillset, and strength in the run game could serve him well in a RT role at the next level. Bjerke has drawn interest from several programs at the FCS and FBS levels and could be in line for another offer in the near future.
Kirkwood shows raw athleticism and active tackling on the edge for Culver City. He leads the defense in tackles with 77 total (43 solo) and has another 7 TFLs on the season from his OLB/EDGE spot. He offers great length/reach in dealing with blockers and has the lateral speed to track out wide. He’s a leaner athlete right now with his length but looks to have the frame to fill out and add weight over time. Kirkwood’s an intriguing defensive prospect that’s drawn interest from multiple D-I programs including an offer from Campbell in August.
Remy Doering
Remy Doering
Doering is a strong two-way starter (WR/DB) for St. Anthony (Long Beach) that excels as a perimeter cover-corner. He can mirror releases in press coverage and stays sticky to WRs at the second and third levels. He’s versatile in his usage with ability to play man or zone from both nickel and outside CB spots. Doering has drawn some interest at the FCS level- look for him to potentially add a late offer after the season.
