#4 Tualatin @ #1 West Linn (WL -22)

I'm a big backer of the Tualatin football program but I don't think anyone in the NW can compete with the Lions other than Central Catholic. [player_tooltip player_id='152339' first='Jayden' last='Fortier'] has been playing out of his mind, and [player_tooltip player_id='152355' first='AJ' last='Noland'] did an outstanding job at the QB spot last week. Even with that I just don't see it being competitive.

#2 Central Catholic @ Gresham (CC -47)

Over after the 1st quarter. That said [player_tooltip player_id='1091611' first='Tucker' last='Snow'] from Gresham can play.

#3 Lake Oswego @ #7 Oregon City (LO -11)

LO's 49-14 loss to West Linn last week is more about the Lions dominance than anything else. The Lakers have played well all year behind a solid group of underclassmen on both sides of the ball. OC made a statement last week and backed up that #7 ranking, with the come from behind 28-24 win at Tigard. If the Pioneers D shows up and controls junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='285866' first='Liam' last='Davis'] and top sophomore back [player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'], it could be close.

#5 Sherwood @ McMinnville (SHER -16.5)

I'm not sure what the record is for consecutive shutouts but posting four in a row is an unreal accomplishment for the Bowmen D. McMiinnville has been playing good ball, dropping a close one to a decent Newberg program 27-20 last week. Look for Jr. QB [player_tooltip player_id='406769' first='Kane' last='Sullivan'] to help the Grizzlies put some points on the board.

Westview @ #6 Jesuit (JES -25)

The Wildcats haven't won a game but have been respectable. After a brutal non league schedule where Jesuit went 0-4, I would expect Jesuit to try and make a statement during the Metro League season. Losing Jr. WR [player_tooltip player_id='285867' first='Grant' last='Valley'] to injury is a tough blow.

#8 Lakeridge @ #9 Tigard (LAK -2)

There will likely be no love lost here. Both teams are very similar from a talent standpoint. I will be interested to see what all everything back [player_tooltip player_id='284119' first='Ansu' last='Sanoe'] does against TRL competition, looking good against Tualatin last week. The Tigers have one of the best venues in the state and you can expect it to be loud tonight.

#10 Sheldon @ South Medford (SHELD -15.5)

The Irish have played good ball the last few weeks and South has not looked good after an impressive start, barely beating a sub-par Sprague team last week. Look for Junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='285876' first='Kameron' last='Rague'] to play an influential role the rest of the year if the Panthers are going to compete against the likes of Sheldon and North Medford.

#11 South Salem @ McNary (SSAL -38)

The Saxons were dealt a brutal blow with one of the state's top two-way threats [player_tooltip player_id='130391' first='Parker' last='Williams'] going down for the year. That being said, South plays one of the weakest schedules in the state and will be 9-0 heading into the playoffs.

Barlow @ #12 Nelson (NELS -16)

Nelson was super impressive in their 33-13 win over a decent Clackamas team last week. This will be another rivalry type game where anything can happen. That being said, the Bruins lost 18-7 to Clack a few weeks back, with the loss of 2x 1st team all Mt Hood lineman [player_tooltip player_id='238631' first='Dylan' last='Howell'] beginning to show it's effects.

#13 Mountainside @ #15 Sunset PICK EM

Definitely one of the more interesting games statewide. Sunset has showed flashes of being a really good football team, with some of the young guys stepping up, and [player_tooltip player_id='278374' first='Blake' last='Hurley'] looking like the Metro League POY. This will be a statement game for Keanon Lowe and the Mavericks if they want to be regarded as a top 10 program this year. The Mountainside underclassmen are some of the best in Oregon.

#14 North Medford @ Roseburg (NMED -29)

North has been playing good football, looking like a completely different team than the one who lost to Tigard 29-7 to start the year. Even with Dave Heuberger, one of Oregon's best coaches, it's been tough for the Indians.
