Mid Tennessee Week 8 Standouts

He had 2 carries for 119 yards and 2 receptions for 90 yards. On the runs, Kinnard showed good vision and burst for a 90 plus yard touchdown run with the long speed to not get caught. His 2nd touchdown run he made nice lateral cuts to find the lane to the outside. He caught a long touchdown on a deep post with good route running skills to attack outside leverage. His final stat line was 11 total tackles with 2 forced fumbles and a blocked PAT. After watching the film, he showed excellent instincts in space to slip past blocks and make open field tackles. Overall, an intelligent football player that shows a good understanding of how offenses try to attack defenses. Roberts is a quick decision maker and stays poised within the pocket with the ability to handle pressure. Good accuracy and touch to all levels of the field and throws with anticipation. Against Hillsboro High School, he stopped the run extremely well from the play side setting the edge and from the backside with great range and pursuit. His instincts pop off the film with great angles to the POS and is a very tough player.
