On defense, he is instinctive vs the run and goes for forced fumbles when the opportunity presents itself. Good footwork in the pocket, he throws on time and delivers accurate balls down the field. Solid athletic ability to run zone read and make some plays with his legs when off script. Mayhew is a quality middle of the field thrower that throws with anticipation. He is very good technically with his hand usage, leg drive and overall body lean. Green shows an excellent understanding of leverage and positioning to create displacement.
