Hylton vs. Gar-Field Game Report

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Gar-Field Red Wolves debuted their new turf to the delight of their homecoming crowd and improved to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in district play. A defensive battle for much of the evening Hylton came to play but was just unable to break through enough offensively. The Bulldogs fell to 3-5 overall but still have much to play for and have a very bright future. All he did was take a punt return 85 yards to the house and haul in a 30-yard touchdown pass. He was everywhere, he also had a pick six but just missed it, would of been a trifecta, but the way he is playing, I have a feeling the trifecta is coming. Gillion is a dynamic punt returner who has the speed to take any punt the distance, just ask Colgan and Hylton. The past two weeks as the Red Wolves passing game has come to life, Elyjah continues to make plays. Catching the game winner last week against Forest Park, he brought home another touchdown last night. Coming up short this week Hylton did not quit and had many chances thanks to valiant effort by their defense. A lot of that has to do with the play of [player_tooltip player_id='1231336' first='Logan' last='Marshall'] at defensive back, he was a difference maker. Midway through the first quarter he broke on a pass for an interception and he nearly scored. The way he broke on the ball showed me he can definitely play at the next level. He is a fierce, skilled corner and he is one of their lead running backs, which he had some nice moments their too. To be honest I was very impressed with the entire Hylton defense, but this kid really stood out.
