Antonio Harris Antonio Harris 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Castle | 2024 State IN – Castle – ATH – 6’2″ 185lbs – 2024
How Harris is still on the board, let alone barely known as he should be is beyond me. He’s a 6’2″ raw ATH who gets it done in the rushing and receiving game. He’s a great athlete with a ton of upside wherever he’s moved on the field. He’s got the twitch to play on the outside and then has the height to win contested balls, which he does now. His regular season was much of the same as his sectional performance. Help move the ball and score TDs. 860 yards and 15 TDs on the ground and then 420 yards and 4 TDs through the air. This past Friday on the ground, he was virtually unstoppable. He was decisive with his cuts and was getting downfield regularly. He put up 192 yards and 4 TDs as he helped guide Castle to a win and Sectional championship appearance. Harris is dynamic, and certainly a bit raw at receiver, but has tools and upside most guys don’t have which should put him higher on the radar.

Slate Valentine Slate Valentine 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Whiteland | 2025 State IN – Whiteland – RB – 5’9″ 170lbs – 2025
Valentine is an incredibly dynamic back who keeps tearing up defenses anytime he steps on the field. Friday was no different as he helped get Whiteland firing on all cylinders and getting to cruise mode. He’s got great vision and does a good job finding and squeezing through smaller gaps. He’s slippery and just gives defenders a hard time trying to bring him down. He’s not the most powerful back and won’t try going through a defender, but he’ll get around them and pick up more yardage. Their offense put up 63 points on Friday against a pretty solid Terre Haute North defense, and Valentine was the main contributor. He started gashing them early and never stopped until they pulled him off the field. An impressive 60+ yard TD run right before half was the final nail in the coffin, even if the defense didn’t know it. 286 yards and 5 TDs on the ground for the dynamic back was good enough for the best RB performance in the state. Valentine understands his skill set and uses it perfectly, which is why he’s so consistent.

Logan Shoffner Logan Shoffner 5'7" | 160 lbs | RB Noblesville | 2024 State IN – Noblesville – RB – 5’7″ 160lbs – 2024
Shoffner has been fantastic for Noblesville this year in all 3 areas he’s on the field. Whether he’s carrying the rock, catching the ball, or returning kicks, he’s a threat to score anytime. He’s a smaller back who does a great job getting lost behind linemen and shooting out to the backside of the hole. He’s hard to find and then is tough and has wiggle which gets him out of tight spaces. He’s not 1 to break many tackles, but he does a great job breaking down a defender and cutting off their angle. This year on the ground he put up 1133 yards and 8 TDs. He added 304 yards and 2 TDs through the air. Then he’s returned 11 kicks and returned 1 for a TD. Anywhere Shoffner has gotten the ball, he’s been an issue for defenders. He’s a guy who could come in, quietly work, and become a contributor in multiple different ways if things work out. Shoffner was impressive again this week and has Noblesville rolling at the right time.

Brevin Holubar Brevin Holubar WR Center Grove | 2025 State IN – Center Grove – WR – 2025
While I wasn’t able to locate a H/W for Holubar, he was impressive again on Friday. This season, he’s had moments and big plays, but Friday was a big game and Franklin Central didn’t want to go out quietly. When Cherry is your QB, your 3-time repeating state champs, and it’s sectionals you’re going to get everyone’s best. Holubar stepped up and made a handful of big plays. Cherry gave him his chances and trusted him. The ball is often put where only the Center Grove receiver has a chance on the ball. On the year he put up 561 yards and 5 TDs which is fine, but then 146 yards and 2 TDs on 7 targets against a Franklin Central team looking to play spoiler was impressive. He had an impressive TD catch where his timing and late hands were incredible. He’s flashed all year, but when the lights get brighter you need to be at your best and Holubar certainly was on Friday. He’s now a guy I’m intrigued with long-term. He’s got a solid frame, good ball skills, and adjusts nicely to the ball downfield.
