Molessa only needed the first half to account for 4 total touchdowns with three coming through the air and one on the ground. The WVU baseball commit was 6/7 for 133 yards and the three passing touchdowns while adding 59 yards and the other score with his legs. Molessa looks to lead his team to another Class A state championship after winning it in 2022.

[player_tooltip player_id='907672' first='Colton' last='Hall'] - Gilmer County '24 RB

Hall had 191 rushing yards in the game while also adding 7 tackles from his linebacker position. Hall is a big-bodied punishing runner who is tough to tackle at the Class A level. Look for the senior to put up some big stats this season for the Titans as they look to make the playoffs.

Jayton Gibson - Calhoun County '24 RB

A new name on our radar is senior running back Jayton Gibson of Calhoun County who had a big week two game against a good Valley team. Gibson eclipsed the 200-yard rushing mark on the night including a touchdown in their narrow loss to Valley. Gibson totaled 218 yards in the contest and is a name that we weren't familiar with before but will be monitoring moving forward with more performances like that one.

[player_tooltip player_id='1078417' first='Colson' last='Wichterman'] - Cameron '24 QB

Known for his passing abilities, senior QB [player_tooltip player_id='1078417' first='Colson' last='Wichterman'] had a big night on the ground for the Cameron Dragons in their blowout win over Hundred. Wichterman played mostly only in the first half but was able to score three times on the ground for the Dragons for 116 yards on just 4 carries. The Dragons primarily used their rushing attack to defeat the Hornets so he was limited through the air with just 6 attempts but Wichterman was able to use his legs to run through the Hundred defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='907703' first='Chase' last='Littleton'] - Madonna '24 ATH

Another name that has made our weekly standouts list two weeks in a row is senior Madonna ATH [player_tooltip player_id='907703' first='Chase' last='Littleton'] who is their new QB1 this season. Littleton has made a quick but huge impact for the Blue Dons at his new position and is one of the better athletes in Class A this season. After a big performance against Wellsville (OH) in week one, Littleton followed that up with an even bigger game in week two versus Hancock (MD). In total, Littleton scored 6 times with three apiece through the air and on the ground. He had 91 yards passing and 119 yards on the ground for a complete game and a dominant victory over the visiting team from Maryland.

Wirt County senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='866524' first='Chase' last='Lowe'] makes his second appearance of the young season in our weekly standouts list and is quickly becoming one of the top players in Class A again this season. Lowe backed up a great week one performance with an even bigger week two to the tune of 223 rushing yards on just 13 carries and three touchdowns. With an astounding 17.1 yards per carry, Lowe was simply unstoppable against an overmatched Magnolia squad. If Lowe isn't the leading rusher in the state so far he can't be far off through the first two weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1138825' first='Kaleb' last='Kuhn'] - Petersburg '26 WR
