. The senior quarterback has completed an incredible 75% of his passes including a perfect 12/12 in the first game of the season against Pocahontas County. Rosenau has three games total of 3 or fewer incompletions in the game and his “worst” performance was a 12 of 23 night in a big win over a talented East Hardy squad. Rosenau has thrown for 891 yards and 16 touchdowns with just 4 interceptions with three of them coming against a previously undefeated Eastern (OH) team last week. Rosenau and the Mountain Lions are a perfect 5-0 on the season and the senior quarterback is a big reason why.

One of the top signal callers in Class A last season was Tucker County’s

. The 6’2 190 quarterback threw for nearly 3,000 yards and 36 touchdowns in 2022 while leading the Mountain Lions to a very successful 2022 campaign. Rosenau has a strong arm and drives the ball well down the field for his stable of speedy receivers to run under. He also showed the ability to fit passes into tight windows and can throw with touch over defenders when needed. While I wouldn’t call him a true dual-threat QB, he’s athletic enough to scramble and buy time in the pocket when appropriate. I expect Rosenau will surpass 3,000 yards and 40 touchdowns his senior year in the Tucker County pass-happy offense. He earned Class A Second Team All-State honors in 2022 and looks to increase that to First Team this year.

Another quarterback with traditional size at 6-foot-2, Rosenau posted quality production for Tucker County last season. The talent level he is facing may not be as high on a weekly basiss but Rosenau shows the ability to get the job against opponents of various difficulity. Has a quality mechnaics that will need some kinks worked out but shows solid arm strength and accuracy, completing 66.7% of his passes as a junior. Rosenau has seemingly improved every season so far of his career so I’m excited to see if he could take another step this fall.
