. Anderson put up monster numbers in Tucker’s spread offense last season to the tune of 1,100 yards receiving and 16 touchdowns while averaging over 100 yards per game. Anderson earned Class A First Team All-State in 2022 and should repeat that accomplishment this season as well. The 5’10 155 rising senior is another speedy receiver that stretches the field very well. While his speed is a big asset to his game, Anderson also has very good make-you-miss ability after the catch and is very slippery. Another aspect of his game that I enjoyed seeing was his commitment to special teams. Obviously, with his speed, he’s a very good returner but also showed he’s willing to cover as well. He’s definitely a player we are keeping a close eye on this season to enter our rankings in the next update.

Anderson has good size at 5-foot-11 and 155-pounds. Not an overly big wide reciever by any means but still has plenty of weight he can add to his frame. From an athleticism standpoint, its quality, a reported forty-yard dash in the 4.7s – 4.8s. He’s not going to be a blazer on the field but can be a strong possession wide receiver at the next level.
Gets a nice release off the snap and uses good route running skills to make up for any athlieticsm disparity he may have against opposing cornerbacks. He avoids getting jamed rather well and makes strong and rather precise cuts on his routes and is able to create seperation and leverage with his route running.
Shows the ability to be aware of where is on the field while adusting to the ball and its’ flight path. Shows decent body control as well. Does not panic when cornered by multiple defenders, shows the ability to be elusive with some quality agility as well. Can be slippery at times. From a physicality standpoint, Anderson despite being smaller does a good job of breaking tackels, doesn’t shy away from contact.
Anderson is a reliable wide reciever, he doesn’t drop many balls and shows consistently strong hands. Despite not having game changing speed he does quite a good job of picking up yards after the catch as well thanks to his skill traits mentioend above
Overall, Anderson as mentioend above probably bests projects to a possession wide receiver at the next level. He is not overly big nor is overly fast but he is a fundamentally sound wide receiver who could carve himself out a nice role in an offense at the next level. Had great production last year with 43 receptions for 1,134 yards and 16 touchdowns in 11 games.
