[player_tooltip player_id='643408' first='Bode' last='Gardner'] WR Mt Spokane 24'/ TJ Haberman QB Mt Spokane 24'

Gardner probably had the best performance of any player in Washington in Week 1, hauling in 8 receptions for 225 yards and 4 TDs. The talented 1st team all-conference speedster is the real deal. A lot of credit to his QB Haberman who played lights out as well, hitting on 16/25 passes for 383 yards and 4 touchdowns, in the 47-20 win over University.

[player_tooltip player_id='348171' first='Kolton' last='Matson'] QB 25' Lake Stevens

Matson looked as good as any QB in the NW in week 1. He dismantled what should be a good Garfield team 48-21, hitting on 26/35 passes for 331 yards and 6 TDs.

[player_tooltip player_id='115330' first='Malachi' last='Durant'] WR Graham-Kapowsin 24'

The 3* Oregon St commit looked the part in the season opener, totaling 182 all-purpose yards and 3 TDs, including a 90-yard kick return. GK got the 49-10 win over Rogers and will once again be a 4A title contender.

[player_tooltip player_id='158338' first='Rocco' last='Koch'] QB Curtis 24'

The returning Co-Conference POY accounted for 321 total yards and 6 TDs (5 passing) where he showed off that overall athleticism, rushing for 128 yards and a TD, in the 45-13 win over Olympia

[player_tooltip player_id='915395' first='Jake' last='Kennedy'] QB Skyview 24'/ [player_tooltip player_id='1108362' first='Trey' last='Jacob'] RB Skyview 24'

The returning co-conference POY Kennedy did his thing again, rushing 10 times for 132 yards and 2 TDs, while going 10/18 in the air for 120 yards. Jacob accounted for 117 yards and a TD on 11 touches. Heading into the season this could very well be the most underrated combo of players in Washington.

[player_tooltip player_id='115335' first='Jason' last='Brown'] RB O'Dea 24'

Brown is one of the top players in America so it's not a surprise when he does well, but the 4* back averaged 17.1 yards per carry, rushing 8 times for 137 yards and 2 TDs, in the 40-0 win over Union.

Alexander Sederstrom DE Skyview 24'

I had Skyview favored heading into their matchup within Oregon power Jesuit, so I wasn't surprised by the win. I did not see the 28-0 shutout coming so all the credit in the world to the Storm D. The 6-3 230 pound DE Sederstrom led all defenders with 2 sacks.

[player_tooltip player_id='206273' first='Aiden' last='Nicholson'] ATH Mountain View 24'

One of the top two-way threats in Washington. Whoever gets this kid collegiately will get a steal at the next level. Nicholson caught 6 passes for 139 yards and 2 TDs, in the 35-21 loss to Nooksack Valley.

[player_tooltip player_id='1010796' first='Hudson' last='Holzhauer'] LB Stevenson 24'

The small school talent had one of the most ridiculous stat lines I've seen in some time, making 22 total tackles, with 9 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks, in the 20-14 win over Kings Way Christian. The 6-1 215-pound LB is a player.

[player_tooltip player_id='402790' first='Greyson' last='Stevens'] WR East Valley 26'

The sophomore had a breakout performance to start the season, catching 7 passes for 174 yards and 2 TDs, in East Valley's 42-14 win over Quincy. FSP has another good one here.

[player_tooltip player_id='693683' first='Xavier' last='Ahrens'] WR/DB Curtis 25'/[player_tooltip player_id='693721' first='Parker' last='Mady'] ATH Curtis 25'

One of the top Junior WR tandems in the NW, combined to catch 7 passes for 178 yards and 5 TDs, in their impressive 45-13 win over a decent Olympia program.

Braylon Pope WR Sumner 27'/ [player_tooltip player_id='158400' first='Tristen' last='Rebar'] QB Sumner 24'

The senior QB Rebar had an outstanding opener, hitting on 12/15 passes for 282 yards and 2 TD's, averaging 23.5 yards per reception. Get used to the name Braylon Pope as the freshman will be one of the best in Washington. In his first varsity game ever, he caught 3 passes for 50 yards and a TD, with Sumner beating Bellarmine Prep 40-0.

[player_tooltip player_id='643393' first='Sam' last='Evers'] WR Washougal 24'

The returning 1st team all-conference talent is one of the best receivers in WA regardless of classification. He caught 6 passes for 177 yards and a TD in the opener, in the team's 45-8 win over River Ridge.

[player_tooltip player_id='206270' first='Navarre' last='Dixon'] RB Emerald Ridge 24'

The standout transfer from Lincoln didn't waste any time showing what he could do, rushing 22 times for 160 yards and 2 TDs, plus another 25-yard TD catch, in the 36-23 win over Puyallup.

[player_tooltip player_id='987170' first='Marcus' last='Gaffney'] 5-11 170 WR/CB Marysville-Pilchuk 26'

Most aren't aware of the sophomore yet, but the kid can play. On the night Gaffney caught 9 passes for 122 yards in Marysville-Pilchuk's 40-14 win over Edmonds Woodway.
