Navarre, now attending Emerald Ridge, is a top running back within the 2024 class. He is versatile, being able to catch the ball out of the backfield effectively. Dixon runs over defenders often but also has the elusiveness to juke defenders to make them miss. During week 3, Dixon had 20 rushes for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns on the night.

Dixon was anointed MVP of the game as the only player to score more than once. He announced himself with the game’s second touchdown from about 45 yards out and then ducked and dodged his way to a short one later on. Both runs showcased his excellent vision and agility, where he stays north and south while turning to gain lateral leverage on defenders. He hits a crease quickly on the first one, stepping out of an ankle tackle and carrying two defenders over the goal line. The second one sees him wrapped up near the line before bursting through another several yards with a defender holding onto his jersey. This short run from later in the drive shows his vision as he reads the blocks well and nearly gets in. IMG_5457
