With another week of high school football action in the books, it's time to look back at some of the most impressive offensive standouts in the Bluegrass State that have made their presence known on the field so far this season. Without any further ado, here's my list of some talented quarterbacks in Kentucky to keep an eye on as the season progresses.

At the top of my list of notable performers is [player_tooltip player_id='873786' first='Jace' last='Bullock'], a 6-foot-1, 190-pound quarterback at North Oldham High School. Bullock has been a gamechanger for the Mustangs in five games, throwing 89 completions out of 151 attempts for 1,130 yards and 14 touchdowns. Bullock also made 13 rush attempts for a pickup of 24 yards. In addition to outstanding size, speed and execution off the snap, Bullock impresses me with his unpredictable playstyle and ability to both outrun the defense and hit his receivers in stride from anywhere on the field.

I am additionally impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='373824' first='Easton' last='Jessie'], a 6-foot-1, 180-pound quarterback at Glasgow High School. Jessie has been a crucial component of the Scotties' offense this season, throwing for 47 completions out of 73 attempts for 844 yards and 12 touchdowns. Jessie has also made 35 rush attempts for 209 yards and four touchdowns. Jessie's composure, footwork and ability to get the ball out of his hands makes him a reliable weapon on offense. Another aspect of Jessie that stands out is his arm strength and pin-point accuracy on deep shots down the field.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is [player_tooltip player_id='392838' first='Trenton' last='Cutwright'], a 6-foot-1, 160-pound quarterback at Bryan Station High School. In four contests with the Defenders, Cutwright has completed 39 passes out of 77 attempts for 515 yards and three touchdowns. Cutwright has additionally made 27 rush attempts for 146 yards and one score. What I like about Cutwright is his explosiveness and well-balanced playstyle, showcasing his composure under pressure as well as his ability to be nearly unstoppable in both the air and on the ground.

Another skilled prospect to keep an eye on is [player_tooltip player_id='986857' first='Ridge' last='Holman'], a 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback at Logan County High School. In five games at the helm of the Cougars' offense, Holman has thrown 75 completions out of 140 attempts for 908 yards and 10 touchdowns. Holman's footwork and quick release have made him a challenging playmaker to contain. I am also fond of Holman's precise decision-making and ability to scan the field for open receivers. Another aspect of Holman that catches my attention is his durable edge and ability to shake tackles.

Coming in at number five on my list is [player_tooltip player_id='401689' first='Baylor' last='Murphy'], a 6-foot-1, 160-pound quarterback at Boyle County High School. Murphy has picked up valuable minutes with the Rebels in two contests, completing 11 completions out of 19 attempts for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Murphy also picked up two rush attempts for 27 yards. Murphy's ability to move the chains with his electric passing and stay on his feet in the pocket are aspects of his playstyle that have made a big difference. I also like Murphy's awareness and ability to finish drives with his smart decision-making.
