Continue ReadingI saw Battle Gideons Battle Gideons 6’1″ | 205 lbs | LB St Margaret’s Episcopal | 2024 CA on film his sophomore season and thought he could grow into a college linebacker.
Gideons is third in Orange County in tackles with 68 and is the clear leader of St. Margaret’s defense. He has some lower level offers and the academics to go anywhere he wants.
Highlights
Jaden Williams Jaden Williams 6’4″ | 240 lbs | DL Mission Viejo | 2025 State CA had a strong offseason and I liked him at multiple Allegiance Lineman Showcases.
The junior has 42 tackles, 12 for a loss and a team-high seven sacks. Sacramento State and San Diego State have offered him and I expect his recruitment to heat up.
Highlights
Alex Zeppos
Alex Zeppos
Tesoro is no stranger to good edge rushers and Zeppos fits the mold of an effective Tesoro edge guy.
He has 5.5 sacks this season through five games and is constantly in the backfield. He could add some size but he already has an offer from the University of Chicago.
Irons is a very good two-way player for a much-improved Buena Park team and has four interceptions this season.
He is a transfer from Downey who has three stars on 247Sports but still seeking his first offer.
Abduall Sanders Abduall Sanders 6’2″ | 215 lbs | LB Mater Dei | 2025 State CA was well-known before the season but his performance at Mater Dei this season should have him moving up the recruiting boards.
He leads Mater Dei in tackles and is a hard hitter. Sanders is an elite run stopper who has filled in the shoes Levi Sua left last season.
Logan Hirou
Logan Hirou
Hirou has been the breakout player of Santa Margarita’s defense which had some question marks in the secondary.
The sophomore has a team-high four interceptions and returned one for a touchdown against Centennial. He has a high football IQ for someone who has only played a year and is as good an athlete as anyone on the team.
