Tarasenko transferred into NW Christian this season from Hawaii, and has been very impressive in the first three weeks of the season. Last Friday night, he passed for over 300 yards, adding another five touchdowns through the air in the win against Prescott. Although he does not currently have any offers, he should draw next level interest as he has solid arm talent, good athleticism and a strong build for the position. Look for him to continue putting up big numbers, and NW Christian to continue on their hot start to the season.
Luke looks to be starting off right where he ended last season, rushing for 100+ yards every week on Friday nights. Against Desert View, he rushed for over 200 yards and three touchdowns, showing his physical running style and consistent ability to gain the tough yards and not be brought down in the open field. He is a very well put together kid with lower body strength, a compact frame and can definitely make an impact at the next level and should gather D-III+ interest through his Senior season.

Daxen Hall
Hall is another one of the regions top backs, and did not disappoint against Marana. Hall exploded for over 300 yards on the ground and four scores in Higley’s 29-24 narrow win. Hall is a very explosive runner with good vision, solid short area quickness in the hole and contact balance through traffic while very difficult to bring down in the open field. He is a natural runner that shows cutback abilities, waits for his blocks to develop and can set up his blocks at the second level before hitting his open field gear. He is another next level kid that should draw D-III+ level interest through the rest of his Senior season.
Bender has exploded onto the scene in his second season, and has had multiple weeks of 100+ yards receiving while adding another 140+ yards again this week and two scores. He is a long and rangy kid that can stretch the field, go up and win 50/50 balls while able to run a variety of different routes on the outside. His knack for making big plays with the ball in his hands and tracking abilities make him dangerous in the open field and one of the more impressive up and coming 2026 prospects across the state.
