I hope everyone had a great, long holiday weekend! We are back and ready to breakdown the tape of Week 3’s best offensive performances. What a week it was. Kids were putting up numbers like they were playing on Madden. In every facet too. Throwing, receiving, running, and the OL even was well represented on my timeline by some strong tape. Let’s get started with another week of great performances as we prepare to enter the second third of the season!
Stats: 5 Receptions, 77 Yards, 2 TDsrnStojek has put together a super efficient junior season up in Hayward, WI. He continued that in Week 3 turning 40% of his receptions into TDs. Those TD highlights were impressive too. On the first we get a look at how well he tracks the ball. Even as he had to twist his head, and have the ball drop in directly over his shoulder. Xzavier still easily came down with it. The second TD showed off the quick route running and ability to get lost in a DB’s blind spot if they don’t stay locked on him. Stojek very naturally plucks the ball out of the air, and he also showed some nice burst and elusiveness in his other receptions during the game vs Antigo. Don’t let the junior slip under the radar. Check out the film.

Stats: 23 Carries, 208 Yards, 1 TDrnThe Waterford workhorse was back at it again on Friday night. The 6′ 215 lbs senior RB is a strong, tone setting RB who plays behind his pads and runs his feet through contact. However, this week’s film starts off with examples of the speed. Carson is able to pull away in the open field on his TD and show that second gear needed for the college level. Throughout the film we also see some lateral agility and ability to jump cut away from filled gaps. Of course, we also see the contact balance as he breaks through tackle attempts. Carson also showed off a devastating stiff arm this week. Give this film a look. There is a spot for Bilitz’s talents at the next level.
An athlete who has taken a strong leap forward in his development since last season is Sun Prairie West’s left tackle Jon Morina Jon Morina 6’4″ | 315 lbs | OL Sun Prairie | 2024 State WI . Jon has built up a well put together 6’4″ 265 lbs frame with plenty of room to add the size for the college level. This week’s film shows a prospect with solid technique such as a wider base than he played with last year, and consistent hand placement. The LT’s body control and balance before and during the block look strong as well. He doesn’t get overextended and has become patient in his attack. Morina also plays with the physicality, strength, and nasty demeanor to finish blocks that is required for the next level. Jon looks like a riser at the position, and a player to check the recent tape on. Don’t sleep on him.

Stats: 6 Receptions, 165 Yards, 2 TDsrnA small school standout to know in the Class of 2025 is Bloomer’s Zeke Strand Zeke Strand 6’4″ | 205 lbs | ATH Bloomer | 2025 State WI . Strand has a great frame for either position he plays (WR/TE/S) at 6’4″ 200 lbs. This week’s highlights do a great job of showing off his well rounded skill set as a pass catcher. On his first TD we see him simply run away from everybody with his superior speed. He demonstrated the ability to be strong through his release from the inline TE position. His ability to track the ball at awkward angles made the tape as well. The long striding athlete has natural ball skills to make the catches in traffic. The cherry on top is he used that size to play physical after the catch too. Don’t miss out on this kid.
Stats: 5 Receptions, 150 Yards, 1 TD, 1 KOR TDrnI don’t know what is in the water, but Milwaukee Academy of Science is printing out WRs that the next level needs to know about at an insane rate. This week I want to highlight senior Timothy Davis Jr Timothy Davis Jr 5’9″ | 155 lbs | WR Milwaukee Academy Of Science | 2024 State WI . The 5’9″ WR has speed to burn. It jumped off the tape on every play. On the kickoff he found a seam and was simply too fast to cut off. Timothy is also blessed with excellent short area burst and agility. Two traits that give him a very quick and effective release off the line of scrimmage. They also make him a sudden route runner who can, and did, open up big windows of separation out of his breaks last week. Davis is dangerous after the catch with that agility as well. Davis is on the rise. Give him a look.
Stats: 295 Rushing Yards, 34 Receiving Yards, 5 TDs, 20 Tackles, 5.5 TFLs, 1 FFrnThis has to be the best individual stat line so far this season. The senior made an impact all over the field on both sides of the ball. We are going to focus on his offensive efforts today. Quickly in the film I liked the burst that Jack plays with after he quickly identifies where he wants to attack the defense. He also does a good job of working towards open grass so he can win with speed, agility, or power in one on one scenarios. Most impressive, though, was the power and contact balance. Jack plays with a low center of gravity that allows him to take and give big hits that don’t throw him off balance. He churns his feet until he is drug down. We are going to see him move up the rankings. Jack is a versatile athlete that has the talent to find a role at the next level. D3 programs need to have this kid on their radars.
Stats: 18/21, 302 Yards, 5 TDsrnOne of WI’s most efficient and accurate passers put his talents on full display in Week 3. The Lourdes Academy junior carved up the defense for some big numbers. The QB showed off the poise making multiple deep throws while staring down the barrel at pressure or free rushers. The accuracy looks as strong as ever too. He pairs it with the touch to be able to drop it in a bucket or place it just over the outstretched hands of a DB/LB. Wade plays with sharp technique overall too. The feet and eyes move together, and he is able to maintain his accuracy outside the pocket on the move. Wade is a QB to keep an eye on over the next year. He has put together a strong HS career, thus far.
Stats: 10 Carries, 257 Yards, 4 TDsrnI mentioned video game numbers in the beginning of this article. Well, here is another athlete who looked like he was playing on easy mode. Jaron ran through the defense to an outrageous tune of 25.7 yards per carry. Every time he touched the ball a big play was going to happen. Jaron is new to my radar, and I have been missing out. He has a great frame for the RB position. His vision and decisive running style give the defense little time to close on him in the box. At the :28 mark in his highlights, Jaron delivers one of the most debilitating stiff arm I have witnessed on a high school tape. Jaron runs a bit upright, but he has good balance and power through contact. Plus he can get to the edge and win the race in the open field. Johnson has a well rounded game, and looks like a big time hidden gem. You need to go watch this tape.
Stats: 26/44, 300 Yards, 4 TDs
The senior signal caller put together a great night to lead Clintonville to their first win of the season. The performance also put Kade two yards away from being in the Top 10 in passing yards in WI. Rosenow looks the part of a next level QB with his 6’5″ 190 lbs frame. It looks like Kade has done a really solid job of developing over the offseason. He has a quick release, smooth footwork in the pocket, and the arm talent to make big time throws. Rosenow made some accurate throws on the run, and also stepped into throws despite having pressure right in his face. It is also impressive to watch Kade consistently work through is progressions. Kade is going to push to be a big riser this season. He has size, developed his technique, and the arm to play at the next level. Don’t miss this one.
One of my favorite under the radar OL is Janesville Craig’s senior George Green. The OG checks in at 6’2″ 280 lbs. Since getting him in the rankings during the August update, I have been impressed by the athleticism/power combination of George. He has light feet and the range to be able to reach defenders a gap over and cut them off. George can also win with power and use leverage to drive DL out of the gap. He gets his hands well placed on his opponents, and has the strength to steer and control them. In the pass game, Greene has a stout base/anchor to prevent the pocket from collapsing. Greene has the tools to mold at the next level. He holds an offer from UW-Oshkosh.
