Some of the wide receivers mentioned below are well-known names, while others are newcomers to the radar. Either way, the players mentioned below are prospects worth keeping an eye on as the season progresses.

Ralston Valley's [player_tooltip player_id='966291' first='Liam' last='Beattie'] (2025) recorded 103 receiving yards on five catches, making him the leading receiver in yards from week zero. Fellow Mustang Jackson Hansen (2024) finished with 91 yards on six receptions, landing him in the top three for the first week. Ralston Valley won their season opener in a hard-fought battle against a talented Mountain Vista team, giving them a little momentum as they prepare to take on the Cherry Creek Bruins this Friday.

Monarch's [player_tooltip player_id='642349' first='Owen' last='Mellish'] (2024) had the second-most receiving yards in the opening week, finishing with 95 yards on six receptions. Teammate Sean Williams (2025 TE) accumulated 71 yards on five catches, making him the sixth-leading receiver from the week.

The fourth and fifth-leading receivers from the season-opening week are Westminster teammates Elias Garcia (2024) and [player_tooltip player_id='547616' first='Hunter' last='Emgarten'] (2024), who racked up a combined 163 yards receiving and three touchdowns. Garcia's 85 yards and two touchdowns on four targets make him one of the more successful receivers from the week, despite the team's tough loss to Denver East.

Mountain Vista's [player_tooltip player_id='283701' first='Ja'Pree' last='Jennings'] (2026) and [player_tooltip player_id='232161' first='Jakhai' last='Mack'] (2025) are two dangerous slot receivers whose places among the top ten receivers will likely remain throughout the season. Both shifty receivers were able to show off their sharp route running and explosiveness when making something happen after the catch. Their accumulated 102 yards on a total of nine receptions reinforces their value in a pass-heavy offense.

Closing out the top ten are Chatfield's [player_tooltip player_id='251279' first='Drew' last='Rohlman'] (2024) and Glenwood Springs' Jerick Sorensen (2025). Rohlman landed in the eighth spot with 55 yards and two touchdowns on two receptions. Rohlman is no stranger to the radar, and his season debut performance made him the most dangerous receiver of the week. Sorensen landed the tenth spot after racking up 45 yards on a single reception.
