Nick Igbeare - 2024 - DL - Collins Hill

I got my first look at Igbeare on Thursday, and he was exceptionally impressive to watch. Igbeare is a massive, lightfooted lineman at 6'4 260 who was able to slip right off blocks and make plays in the backfield all night. Off the snap, he showed the ability to drop his shoulder and get skinny to slip right between the blockers. Once he was clear, he showed good pursuit skills and closed the distance between himself and the ball carrier in a hurry. When blockers were able to initially get their hands on him, he was able to swat them away with his feisty hands and worked relentlessly to free himself. While he is still a bit raw, Igbeare is a 6'4 260 prospect with room to grow and impressive agility for his size. He has numerous FBS offers, but I have a P5 grade on him and believe he could play himself onto a major stage of college football if he continues to build off his week 1 performance against a talented Milton squad.

Johnny Stephens - 2024 - WR - Mount Pisgah

Johnny Stephens caught my eye with his speed and versatility this past week. This senior sleeper isn't the biggest prospect at 5'10 160, but he flashes some serious speed and playmaking ability on both sides of the ball. Stephens is a lightfooted prospect who can create separation for himself over the middle of the field. He runs fairly crisp routes and is a natural runner. After the catch, Stephens has the speed to exploit openings and begin his pursuit to the endzone. He is listed with 4.42 speed, which seems accurate once you see him move and dance around blockers. On defense, he doesn't have the size to match up with bigger WRs at CB, but he can run with anyone and be pesky enough in man coverage to make some plays. Lined up at S, where he can play in space and navigate a large area of the field, is likely where he fits best on defense. Stephens is one of the fastest players I evaluated this week and is a senior sleeper you should file away for the next few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1293871' first='Chase' last='Linton'] - 2025 - EDGE/DE - North Atlanta

Linton is a long, lanky, raw prospect coming off the edge for North Atlanta and he had himself a solid week 1 showing, clearly flashing some intriguing upside. Linton is a rail-thin 6'4 205, but his combination of length and speed off the edge proves to be a tough matchup for most offensive tackles. When lined up wide and given a runway to the QB, he is quick off the ball and can get to the QB in a hurry. For a prospect who still has tons of room to add more weight, he has solid body control and bend off the edge which creates separation for himself. Against the run, he can chase off the backside and collapse running lanes from the outside. He has a large tackling radius which allows him to absorb the ball carrier and muscle him to the ground. Linton's speed is going to allow him to produce at a high level, but as he adds weight, he could turn into a dynamic size-speed prospect off the edge with some D1 upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='681166' first='Jonathan' last='Granby'] - 2026 - QB - Fellowship Christian

Coming into their Corky Kell matchup against Mount Pigsah, Granby was a prospect that I was unfamiliar with. After watching Granby perform, it's clear that he will be a guy on my radar moving forward. From a physical standpoint, he certainly holds his own with a solid 6'0 or so foundation. He showcases outstanding athleticism, flashing the speed to get outside leverage on the defense and turn upfield to scamper for big gains. However, he looked calm and collected. Often, athletic QBs at his age will make dangerous plays. Granby did a good job of managing the game and keeping the ball out of harm's way. He lined up both in the shotgun and under center and appeared comfortable turning his back to the defense on handoffs and PA passes. As a passer, he throws off a clean platform, has a tight release, and shows good ball placement to all levels of the field. He also had the arm strength and elasticity to make a TD pass while under pressure and falling away, which we are starting to see more of with baseball prospects. Granby is someone that I will keep a close eye on. He has the tools and composure to develop into a legit prospect.

Justin Beasley - 2026 - WR - Calhoun

Beasley caught my eye more than almost any other prospect on Friday night against Blessed Trinity. He has a stout, RB-like 5'10 frame and showcased his talents and athleticism at WR and on special teams as a returner. From my eyes, I saw an athletic receiver with the ability to make plays at all levels of the field. Toward the end of the first half, he ran a slant across the field and rose up in traffic to stick the ball out of the air, flashing impressive leaping ability and strong hands. Later in that drive, he was able to drop his hips in a tight zone and go low to catch the ball. Just from those two plays, you could see his body control and reliability as a pass catcher on full display. Beasley also took a screen and made a huge play later in the game. He has the horizontal agility to make the first guy miss and begin the race to the endzone. He is exceptionally explosive and generates a ton of momentum from the ground. If given an opening, he can get north and south and attack an opening with aggression. Beasley is a stock-up prospect who could certainly develop into an FBS-level recruit over the next few years.
