<p>The MICDS Rams graduated a lot of talent from last year's team, including multiple future college players and veterans of the program over the last four years. They do return a few of the standouts from last year who are also college prospects, and will be reloading with some nice up and coming underclassmen. </p>

<p>Junior QB <strong>Brian Gould</strong> (5'11" 180) returns to run the offense after throwing for 1,194 yards and 10 touchdowns, while completing 57% of his passes as a sophomore. Brian hopes his experience and offseason work help him improve on those numbers in 2023. Freshman <strong>Noah Mennke</strong> is a talented young quarterback in his own right and may see some time on varsity this year. </p>

<p>At running back, junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='285158' first='Cameron' last='Cooper']</strong> (6'0" 200) has seen some varsity action the past two years, and looks to be ready to step up his role this season. Cooper is a talented multi-sport athlete. Sophomores <strong>Mikey Gutchewsky</strong> and <strong>Rodney Freeman </strong>each had a handful of carries in 2022 and will be in the mix. Freshman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1131038' first='Justin' last='Bishop']</strong> is called a "special player", by head coach Fred Bouchard, and is likely to see some action this year. </p>

<p>At receiver, sophomore<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='402116' first='Graham' last='Faust']</strong> (6'3" 180) is the leading returner with 8 catches for 122 yards and a touchdown. Fellow sophomore <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='849704' first='Gabe' last='Weaver'] </strong>(6'3" 175) also had a handful of catches and a touchdown as a freshman. Sophomore <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='849684' first='Henry' last='Rohan']</strong> is one of the fastest players on the team and a tremendous overall athlete. Junior <strong>Luke Koman</strong> is also expected to play. Senior TE <strong>Tyler Tschudy</strong> (6'6" 215) had 7 grabs last year and has experience over the past few years.</p>

<p>Heavily recruited prospect <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='285086' first='Davis' last='Schukar']</strong> (6'4" 260) is back to lead the offensive line for his senior season. Schukar has double digit offers and brings some great experience, ability and leadership back. Sophomore OG <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='849685' first='Miles' last='Coleman']</strong> (6'1" 290) is also back after starting as a freshman and was impressive with his play. Seniors <strong>Walker Graves</strong> and <strong>Alex Kellner</strong> will join them along the OL. Sophomore <strong>Sam Glasser</strong> (6'2" 264) is a rising OL talent who will likely see time, and freshman <strong>Weston Roller</strong> is an impressive freshman to watch for in the future.</p>

<p>Junior big-time DL prospect <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='215751' first='Lucas' last='Allgeyer']</strong> (6'6" 265) will lead the defensive line after an outstanding 2022 season, where he had 89 tackles, 8 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries, which D1 colleges took notice of, and started extending offers to him. He's a very athletic and explosive defensive lineman. <strong>Tyler Tschudy</strong> will also play DE besides his tight end position. Sophomore <strong>Ben Peterson</strong> (6'3" 240) is another athletic defensive lineman for the Rams, who looks like he is ready for a breakout season.</p>

<p>Kent State commit <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='130198' first='Carter' last='Enyard']</strong> (6'2" 215) will bring his 67 tackles and 7 sacks back to lead the linebacker crew as a senior. The talented Enyard will also play tight end on offense for the Rams. Senior <strong>Mike Larkin</strong>, and athletic junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='957344' first='Peyton' last='Simon']</strong> return after seeing action in 2022 at linebacker. </p>

<p>Senior<strong> Willy Carpenter</strong> (5'10" 175) had 84 tackles, 4 fumble recoveries and a pick for the Rams in 2022 and returns to their defensive backfield to lead it. Fellow seniors <strong>Jeremiah Clay</strong> (5'11" 170), who contributed 22 tackles in his playing time last season, and <strong>Zach Schmitz</strong> will join Carpenter. Sophomores <strong>Pete O'Leary</strong> and<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='849684' first='Henry' last='Rohan'] </strong>were also mentioned among those who should contribute. </p>
