This time I am looking at the Omaha Central Eagles. The Eagles are going through quite a few changes this season with a new coaching staff and an influx of talent as a result of transfers. I've had the opportunity to watch Omaha Central a few times this season, but mostly in 7v7 competition. There is plenty of talent on this team, both young and experienced players. I believe this is a team that could open some eyes this season and make a strong push for the playoffs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>- Get ready for a breakout season from QB [player_tooltip player_id='487569' first='BJ' last='Newsome']. The sophomore gunslinger is someone I've kept a close eye on this offseason and can see the progression in his development. His mobility looks a lot better. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='326866' first='DJ' last='Sterling'] is looking to cap off his productive prep career with a solid senior season. His primary focus will be on the defensive side of the ball, but you could expect to see him on offense in certain situations. I'm excited to see sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='212372' first='DaShawn' last='Prince'] back on the field after missing the majority of his freshman campaign to injury. Fellow LB [player_tooltip player_id='318988' first='Jaden' last='Griffin'] has had a solid summer and has looked good as an off-ball 'backer in 7v7 games.
