Want to know a little more about our preseason All-State team? Here's a look at the guys on the offensive side of the ball.

OFFENSIVE LINEMEN

[player_tooltip player_id='272706' first='Garris' last='Chambers'] Silver Bluff - That OL beside Chambers' name on the Silver Bluff roster? That means all of it. Chambers has played center, guard, and tackle during his career, and is now penciled in to start at right guard for the Bulldogs.

[player_tooltip player_id='448975' first='Blake' last='Franks'] Greenville - A massive, talented left tackle, Franks is the lynchpin of the Red Raiders' offensive line. They've got all five starters back, and Franks and his teammates up front are a huge part of what's fueling sky-high expectations in Greenville.

Steven O'Dell Broome - O'Dell has the size and strength of a tackle, but moves and pulls like a quick guard. He's able to run sideline-to-sideline better than most, and that athleticism allows Broome to do a ton of different things.

[player_tooltip player_id='139286' first='Kam' last='Pringle'] Woodland - Speaking of allowing his team to do different things, Pringle is another one of those guys. He's just simply so dominant that he allows Woodland to try things. Overwhelmingly, the results are going to be a positive play.

[player_tooltip player_id='208333' first='Slayton' last='Stokes'] Hartsville - Stokes is another guy who can play anywhere on the offensive line. The Foxes have been working him at center, where precision and discipline are the key to their offense. Anywhere he plays, he's likely to dominate.

[player_tooltip player_id='139295' first='Josiah' last='Thompson'] Dillon: Thompson is committed to South Carolina. He plays like he's already there. Thompson is often head and shoulders ahead of opposing defensive linemen, and he's a huge reason that hopes for another title run are high in Dillon.

[player_tooltip player_id='771036' first='Dakarai' last='Sumter'] Lower Richland - 6-foot-8, 320 pounds, one of the Diamonds' hardest workers, AND a complete understanding of the offense? Sumter checks every box for Lower Richland

[player_tooltip player_id='1142430' first='Watson' last='Young'] Daniel - Young has the versatility to play either guard position or at center. He's a strong player, and has a little bit of the nasty streak that offensive line coaches love.

TIGHT ENDS

[player_tooltip player_id='771035' first='Kyan' last='Kennedy'] Chester - Like most high-level tight ends, Kennedy is a little bit of an athletic freak in the best sense of the word. He's big, physical, and strong enough to shine in the blocking game, athletic enough to stretch the field with his receiving talents, and also contributes a ton on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='302853' first='Bryce' last='Rothwell'] Lucy Beckham - Rothwell is a 6-foot-4, 245-pound walking matchup nightmare. He's great at the line of scrimmage, and he consistently makes plays down the field.

RECEIVERS

[player_tooltip player_id='163871' first='Mazeo' last='Bennett Jr'] Greenville - Bennett will line up at several positions for the Red Raiders, and he'll be electric at every one of them. Last season, most of his success came at receiver, where he accounted for 847 yards and 14 scores.

[player_tooltip player_id='448982' first='Jaquarius' last='Mayrant'] Camden - There's fast, and then there's SO fast that you've got to get a guy the ball. Want to guess which one Mayrant (pictured) is? He's an all-region DB, but he'll play a huge offensive role for the Bulldogs.

[player_tooltip player_id='267431' first='Avery' last='McFadden'] Hillcrest - McFadden's another one of those got-to-get-it-to-him guys. He's just a playmaker, whether he's carrying it, turning a short pass into a big gain, going to get the long ball, or returning kicks.

[player_tooltip player_id='448987' first='Wushi' last='Ravenel'] James Island - Ravenel is a big-play guy among big-play guys. Our top-rated 2024 receiver, he averaged 23 yards per catch last season, scoring 14 TDs and hauling in 51 balls for more than 1,200 yards.

[player_tooltip player_id='464881' first='Jayden' last='Sellers'] South Florence - Sellers was a key guy during the Bruins' run to the Class 4A state title last season, and he's back for more. Last year, he caught 39 passes for 827 yards and 12 TDs.

[player_tooltip player_id='208338' first='Braylon' last='Staley'] Strom Thurmond - Staley, an Aiken transfer, is an absolute burner who's no stranger to going to get the ball. How highly-regarded is Staley? Well, Alabama's offered if that tells you anything.

[player_tooltip player_id='139297' first='Jyron' last='Waiters'] Wilson - The Tigers throw it all over the place, and Wilson led the team in receptions and accounted for 700 yards and 11 TDs as a junior. He'll have an even bigger role for Wilson this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='771220' first='Christian' last='Zachary'] Calhoun County - At 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, Zachary has the length and speed to be a playmaker both offensively and defensively. He had a 1,000-yard season last year, and has collected a bunch of offers.

RUNNING BACKS

[player_tooltip player_id='91348' first='Traevon' last='Dunbar'] Midland Valley - Dunbar has bounced back from a knee injury, is now just over 200 pounds, and runs in the 4.5 range. Yikes. A big, physical, fast runner, he's a lot closer to the back he was before the injury - and maybe even better.

[player_tooltip player_id='272702' first='Jevon' last='Edwards'] South Aiken - Edwards has the benefit of playing right beside one of the state's best dual-threat QBs (more on him in just a minute), and he's sometimes overlooked. That's a mistake. Edwards has almost 2,800 career yards heading into his junior season, and a 6,000-yrad career isn't out of the question.

[player_tooltip player_id='208339' first='Carmello' last='McDaniel'] Hartsville - With the Foxes back to their usual offensive power on the ground, McDaniel is an interesting case. He rushed for 1,400 yards as a sophomore, and followed that up with 1,800 yards a a junior. What does his senior season have in store for an encore? It's scary to think about.

[player_tooltip player_id='473001' first='Jaylen' last='McGill'] Broome - McGill exploded onto the scene as a freshman last season, racking up yards and Division I attention quickly. He's a year faster, a year stronger, and the No. 1-ranked player in the Class of 2026 might be even better.

[player_tooltip player_id='267466' first='Dashun' last='Reeder'] Christ Church - Reeder had video game numbers last season, with more than 2,100 yards, a 9.2 yards per carry average, and 42 TDs. The Cavaliers return a ton of talent around him, and the sky's the limit for Reeder this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='265222' first='Turbo' last='Richard'] Northwestern - Richard's a violent runner who finishes plays, and who rushed for nearly 2,100 yards and 24 TDs last season. And honestly, is there a cooler name for a running back than Turbo?

[player_tooltip player_id='317140' first='Trey' last='Thompson'] Andrew Jackson - It takes something special to put together a 2,500-yard rushing season. Thompson is plenty special. Patient, physical, strong, and fast, he's capable of running over your as well as running away from you.

[player_tooltip player_id='464882' first='Jamarcus' last='Williams'] Hannah-Pamplico - One of just 11 guys statewide who rushed for more than 2,000 yards a year ago, Williams shines at yards after contact. He's just a junior, and is on a very short list of guys who can put up insane numbers.

QUARTERBACKS

[player_tooltip player_id='589009' first='Javion' last='Martin'] Crestwood - A two-time Region VI-3A Offensive Player of the Year, Martin is a true dual-threat guy. He threw for 2,845 yards and 34 TDs a year ago, rushing for nearly 500 yards and seven more scores.

[player_tooltip player_id='241044' first='Finley' last='Polk'] Northwestern - Polk started 2022 as an under-the-radar sophomore. One year later, he's got a 3,300-yard, 37-TD season under his belt and he's bigger, faster, and stronger. Everybody knows him now.

[player_tooltip player_id='340388' first='Terrence' last='Smith'] South Aiken - Eighty yards. That's all that separated [player_tooltip player_id='340388' first='Terrence' last='Smith'] from being a 1,000/2,000 guy a year ago. He threw for 920 and five scores, and he absolutely set Region IV-4A on fire with his legs, rushing for more than 2,000 yards and 28 scores. He's got legit 4.3 speed, and he's a legit problem for defenses.

[player_tooltip player_id='346189' first='Cutter' last='Woods'] Westside - A room full of top-flight receivers and an even more pass-happy offense under new head coach Brian Lane is what awaits Woods' junior season. That's on the heels of a sophomore campaign that saw him throw for more than 3,000 yards and 28 TDs. He's poised, he's athletic, and there's not a throw he can't make.
